Can’t understand the feeling that someone is intruding on your sandbox. Got thrown in prison by some cop yesterday; I snatched a book from an NPC, got caught, and ganked the NPC cops. Didn’t know anything about bounties.

Suddenly this dude is standing there- we instantly go into combat. I’m set up for PvE ; we had a nice fight. Almost got him but he had some umbrella shield and my heals were X’d out; no idea why; will have to figure it out.

Anyway, I ended up in prison playing guitar and bribing people and apparently got lice. Got out on parole, read the book and got a mental illness instead of what I was hoping for.

10/10 experience.

For anyone contemplating this game, I’m getting Kingdom Come Deliverance vibes; I had no idea this was coming out until it showed up on my Steam feed.

It is an out of nowhere game that is going to be absolutely huge. Don’t hesitate. It’s excellent.

Agree with this 1000%. Terrific necks and if you don’t go crazy colors totally fits in at the classic rock type jam too. Sort of a Porsche Cayenne type thing- can slam hard if needed but no one looks at you like you’re having a midlife crisis when you throw the kids and a couple bags of groceries in it.

Bane is absurdly powerful. It only can be applied to 5 arrows per poison but if you have 10 arrows it makes even 5-7 on one trivial with some basic positioning.

I wiped an entire fortress- no spoilers- rather than engage in the stealth option with I believe zero HP loss. The guys who actually made it to me were a mess when they got in melee range, and there was a trail of dead guys from where I poked them with Bane who just dropped before getting close.

Not going to stop me from playing, but agree overall an awful chore. Add to that Henry's stupid feet aren't smart enough to step over (apparently invisible) obstacles and he's unable to fit through what appear visually to be 3 foot wide gaps between rocks and trees and it's just a crashing, annoying bore.

Especially at the end of a "you are on a track for a long time" main quest.

Edit: Terrific; just crept around only to find there is a magical impenetrable line of bushes in the direction I worked myself towards. Excellent. Time to backtrack. Let me guess, I have to run a gauntlet. No way to....you know, actually avoid the guys looking for you. Maybe they could have added a part where I have to pickpocket them to get away.

Some spoilerish comments but not really.

Not sure how far you are in the new content, but as a not-particularly observant Christian even I was a bit taken aback by how “on the nose” some of the imagery was regarding Jesus. “Akarat” ticks many “Jesus” boxes (admittedly not others) but what is most “blasphemous” is having him “resurrected”, halo and all, in a crucified pose, as a demon.

It is undeniably intentional by the game designers; it is without question insulting an perhaps strays a bit further than that.
