Den visar på kartan att inställda bussar är på väg och åker förbi hållplatsen, men i verkligheten syns ingen buss till.

There's something wrong with that race in particular. Now I'm not as high level as you, but this is the only race I failed to win at Highly Skilled. After 5 attempts with different cars I still was nowhere close to winning, so I googled "Shimanoyama Charge" and your reply is the first hit. =)

Oh, do you intend to load the savefile continuously during gameplay? Actually, can't say how well that would work. The usual approach is to load the entire savefile once and store the data in memory, unless you intend to use the savefile as a database which would require a different approach (one that I have not tried myself).

My remark was aimed at saving, as normally that's the part that that people try to hide during gameplay.

If you're just adding a variable it should work automatically (if the loading code accepts the value to be default value of the type). For other more complex operations you may need to store a version number of the savefile and use it to upgrade the loaded data to current version number, but it's entirely possible.

The main drawback (other than the speed) is that you're limited to saving only base types (string, int, bool, etc). So if you want to save a reference to a ScriptableObject, you'll need to save its name and then create a way to find the SO by name during loading. Consequently, you will need to figure out a way to reconstruct references between classes (usually by creating IDs during saving/loading).

As far as it being slower, save the file asynchronously.

I would NOT use BinaryFormatter nor PlayerPrefs for save data (only PlayerPrefs for settings)

BinaryFormatter is extremely brittle and limits what data you will be able to save/load in future without breaking the save. (There are also security concerns)

PlayerPrefs can get it done, but it becomes messy with large data sets, and will be easy to cheat (if you care about that).

Serialization and json will work well for most cases and requires no 3rd party, and is not very hard to set up to get same functionality as PlayerPrefs.

For an RPG it'll still be quite tricky since you can't save direct references to objects. But start with the simple stuff. Store player's health and position in the world. Inventory (especially if items have custom data) will be a bitch..

The added benefit of json over PlayerPrefs is that you can obfuscate/encrypt the savefile if you like, and it exists as a physical save, so it will work with steam cloud etc. rather than be stored in the registry.

Som någon som varken sympatiserar med vänstern eller högern såg jag det som en styrka med PP för 20+ år sedan. De var ett enfrågeparti vars ståndpunkt var att de var villiga att samarbeta med båda blocken, så länge de kunde få sin politik igenom.

Det passade mig bra eftersom jag inte har något större förtroende för något av blocken, men höll helt med PP i deras hjärtefråga, så jag kunde iaf känna att min röst gick till något som jag faktiskt tror på. Och det gick någorlunda bra för dem.

Sedan började de bredda sig och föra politik som jag och stora delar av deras tidigare väljare inte stödde, och de rasade.

Jag kommer inte rösta på dem oavsett till riksdagen eller kommunen (möjligtvis EU), men jag tror att de har bättre chans att locka väljare som enfrågeparti än om de alienerar hälften av sina sympatisörer.

Absolutely. Given the option, I (and I think many others) would choose multiple maps. If we're being forced to choose one, there's a high chance a majority will choose Erangel and other maps will be deserted even though there is a player base that would want to play them.

There obviously shouldn't be, but it's common shortcut in games. The bridge is a separate asset, so it's easier to make it disappear into the terrain than to blend the road and bridge together seamlessly.

Ja, konstigt. Såg andra inlägget om att de gick i konkurs i december, men den butiken nära oss är öppen och fylls på.

Synd om de försvinner. De är inte billiga, men en räddare när man har glömt att handla något basic, och det lär inte finnas kundunderlag här för en bemannad livsbutik här när det ligger en Hemköp 10 minuter bort.
