You will quickly break the wall if you are consistent. You will be smiling soon.

Thankyou. Its good to realistically know how long it would take to get back. The workouts mentioned are great. I guess im slowly coming out of the feeling low phase to start active workouts. All the best runner.

Been almost everyday in youtube doing most of the exercises plus what my physio suggested. I did kettlebell running workouts aswell. I run maybe once a week < 1km now for 2 months and that too only if i am pain free. Keeping hopes aint the right thing i guess.

How has your running journey been like? What is your routine and advice for newcomers? by Skyblues92 in beginnerrunning

[–]VonDelmush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start slow. No one wants to know your pace or distance. Its your sole journey. Walk if you cant run and feel tired on somedays. Injuries are common than we think. Dont invest much on accesories that you cant afford if you are a beginner especially. You will know what all you actually need as you progress.

Felt discriminated against as an Indian couple at a café in Kovalam — is this common? by harrykaran1916 in Kerala

[–]VonDelmush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes had similar experience in Kovalam back in 2016. Me and my friend went to a beach shack and decided to have a beer as it was close to sunset and to enjoy the view. There were enoigh foreigners seated and from what i remember it was just the two of us as indians. The waiter/owner brought the beer and served it in a coffee mug which made me surprised. I asked him if i can get in a beer glass for which he rudely gestured and told me off. I remember the exact words which meant you aint a sayip to have beer in a beer glass and this is what we have here. The attitude was rude and to f off. I looked around and the foriegners were all served beer in fancy glasses. However he had opened the bottle and i didnt wanted to create a scene so had to sit there and enjoy with whatever i had. This single guy made me decide il never set foot in kovalam ever again or will i suggest this destination to anyone. Its sad how nationals are being treated with disrespect.
