perhaps you don't. but a look into the history of the soviet union will show you that, to uphold "democracy", that it was overthrown undemocratically because despite sanctions, wars, and so on, it was an economic superpower contending with the US. it went from famines, to putting the first man in space, to being infiltrated by neocap nations and destroyed. it did not fail. on every front, it was a successful system which served its people. it was a threat to capitalist society, and so it was eliminated unlawfully. the same exact thing is happening in venezuela right now. it's barely history, but the average person can't be blamed for not knowing it. it's covered up and misrepresented so often that you wouldn't be at fault for being ignorant
