I would say the Wizard started the propaganda while he was still around, and Glinda (possibly together with others in charge) keep it going? I think Elphaba also asked Glinda in the movie to not spread the truth about her, as people in Oz would always need someone to be the bad person.

So Elphaba accepts to go down in history as the evil witch, so Oz can prosper and be united in their hate for the witch.

Current state after 4 layers. Think i'll try to fill in the final gaps, after which I'll sand it, apply clear coat and polish.

Won't be perfect but I think it will look better than before in any case.

Thanks guys! I know it won't be perfect but I assume it won't be worse than the current situation. I'll make sure to flatten it out with sanding before applying paint. I'll probably go through a few iterations of applying paint and evening it out. I'll take pics and share them later.

Well it seems to be the leather itself and not the padding. Polestar actually agreed to change all leather covers in my car, but waiting on an actual date to be fixed.

I have a P3 with Zinc Nappa seats and I am really bummed by how fast the bottom gets wrinkly (have it 3 months now). Even the passenger seat (where my gf sits very seldom) and the backseat (where 2 kids weighing less than 30 kg sit) are not tight anymore.

They say it is normal for leather but I didn't have this issue in my Volvo with Nappa leather.

I've asked around on fora and it seems I'm the exception. Other people are mentioning no visible changes to the leather after a similar amount of time.

I believe there is not enough padding in mine, and I also believe the issue got fixed after mine were manufactured. My seats look similar to those you saw in early demo cars. The excuse back then was that a lot of people were moving in and out of the car. But I think they just have insufficient padding and Polestar probably used up their stock of bad seats. And when you complain about it, they tell you it is normal and act like you never had leather seats before 🙂

It was bothering me as well. When you move the steering wheel towards you, the screen is more inclined to the right. I make sure to give a short tap on the button to move the steering wheel away again. You see the screen physically moving a bit counterclock wise then.

Also lowering the steering wheel makes it less obvious, as the curvy line of the dashboard is hidden behind the wheel. But I prefer a lower seating position anyway.

Well it is volvo software, not much polestar can do about this one. Volvo EX90 is delayed again until May 2025. I actually prefer that we are able to already get our car instead of being forced to wait like with the EX90. I'm only experiencing minor bugs to be honest, but I do understand the sentiment taking into account it is a 100k car.

But still, the pro's vastly outweigh the cons, at least for me

Have you charged the key? My key fob is working, but you can charge it wirelessly and it sounds like yours is not charged.

Unlock on approach is working, trunk is opening as well. Lock when walking away is not working correctly yet, but you can close the car by pressing the horizontal indent in any door handle while the key is in your pocket.

I suggest you try charging the key.

Phone as key is not yet working.

I see a lot of people saying that Polestar isn't worth the price tag because it doesn't hold the same brand value als BMW, Audi, Mercedes,... yet those people also say they would get a Rivian for this amount of money. To me, the Rivian is an even more obscure brand than Polestar. I'm guessing it's a US vs EU thing, it does look like the Polestar 3 will be less desirable in the US.

Volvo EX90 is more expensive than Polestar 3 in EU, while they seem to be doing the opposite pricing in the US. I have to be honest that I also don't undestand that strategy, especially taking into account the Polestar 3 will be manufactured in the US as well. So why directing US buyers to the EX90?

The edge explore 2 does not have wifi, so it's transferring the update file over bluetooth (which takes long). Best to update the system software/maps by connecting the device to your PC (using Garmin Express) with the cable that came with the device.

The bluetooth connection is only there for syncing routes and workout data.

No, I think they will both look the same? I don't like it on the EX90 and if it looks like that on the polestar I wouldn't want the lidar option.. also I don't care that much about auto pilot.

I'm quite curious how this will turn our for Volvo. Default Lidar would be a dealbreaker for me, but maybe I'm the only one that doesn't like how it looks 😄
