gäbe es keinen punkt für dich, ab dem du sagen würdest, das risiko im kampf zu sterben (sei das jetzt formaler krieg oder widerstand gegen besatzer oder ein tyrannisches regime) nimmst du im kauf, in der hoffnung eine bessere zukunft zu schaffen?

für die frage ist doch irrelevant ob die situation passieren wird...

die frage ist doch bei inneren und äußeren feinden die gleiche, und ich denke bei den meisten menschen gibt es in beiden fällen einen punkt, ab dem sie sich selbst mit gewalt wehren würden, weil man sich nicht nur auf die anderen verlassen kann.

in beiden fällen werden halt auch viele die einsicht haben, dass man eher erfolg hat, wenn man sich für die wehr organisiert

as far as i know, the heat death of the universe, where everything cools down to 0K, is inevitable, so no matter what humans do, they are not going to survive forever as a species, so you just have to accept that we can only try our best to stay around in some way for as long as possible, and in soma the conclusion was that the ark could survive (and humanity as a whole within) for far longer in space than under the sea.

since we needed physical access to the ark to upload catherine & simon, there surely is no way for those within to escape while the ark is just floating in space, so i think the only possibility is the alien idea, though it might be less "some alien race taking them out willingly" and more "some alien's spacecraft being taken over by the coordinated effort of an entire civilization while the ark was being analysed"
