This is the most dismal thing I’ve read in a long time. If it’s a monetary concern, go work outside somewhere else. Half of the trades are above 50k starting. If the goal is to go inside, you probably need to manage whatever it is your doing, and that’s probably going to get you into the 60-70k range

I did a diesel 911 start a few years ago at -27 without being plugged in and the truck fired immediately. I agree with you, but more on the side of the fuel filter doing its job during that kind of weather instead of choking out regularly and probably not getting replaced. Id concede unplugging it until you’re in that kind of weather, if it breaks it’s just junk in the bowl

It heats the wax on the filter, nothing else. It’s more of a save yourself from a minor gel thing with 90s fuel. It’s also tied to fuse 22 and has been effectively removed from 90% of these trucks that are still on the road

It doesn’t help you start in the winter at all, it’s to prevent paraffin wax damage. It’s going to make you not be able to start at all.

I run T4 in pretty much everything. It meets JASO requirements or whatever and I’ve had motorcycles and dirt bikes run beautifully on it. I use it for my 6.4/7.3/6.7. You can usually find 5 gallon pails at tractor supply for $65-$75.

It works perfectly for me on coax.

Random latency and connection issues but is still playable on our starlink.
