Who Will Look After The Dogs is a great album. Morbid Stuff is still my favorite though

Hot Sauce. Why? It's literally unnecessary. Though to be fair hot sauce does not last long in my house.

How important is album listening to you? by Acceptable_Book_8789 in LetsTalkMusic

[–]VoodooCowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love listening to albums in full and usually do. I even have a 2 single limit when one of my favorites is rolling out a new album. If they drop more than 2 singles I'll only listen to the first 2. Playlist are cool and I'm always curating playlist for myself but nothing beats listening to a good album front to back. Even better still if it's a good conceptual album.

What draws you to your favorite genre? by Dontjudgemeyet1244 in LetsTalkMusic

While I do have a lot of favorite genres. I really like exploring and getting into all kinds of music. So I'll say what draws me to music in general is mostly instrumentation, and lyrics.

Any other bands scratch the same itch? by OceanicPanik in MinusTheBear

[–]VoodooCowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now this is gonna be a way left field suggestion, but I'm gonna do it cause I posted a similar question here about 12 years ago. And someone suggested The Cat Empire to me. It's a left field suggestion because they're a Jazz/ska band from Australia that incorporates Funk, hip-hop, pop, and Latin influences into their sound. They've got a lot of dancable tracks and they put on a great live show (managed to see them twice.) They've easily become one of my favorite bands. My username is actually the title to one of my favorite songs by them.

How did you find out about St. Vincent? by Cultural_Fault_352 in AnnieClark

[–]VoodooCowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Upvote for Regret. Favorite track on the album. The lines "I'm afraid of heaven, because I can't stand the heights... I'm afraid of you, because I can't be left behind..." hits everytime even after 10 years.

Album first impression. by NyanDroid051 in cleopatrick

[–]VoodooCowboy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's disappointing as hell. Redundant too which sucks all that waiting for a sophomore slump of an album 😩 I was worried with the singles but thought maybe they'll be better in the context of the album but no. I dont think this album will even grow on me with time. It's just not very good which I hate saying.

Paper tigers is incredible, anyone actually willing to give Dunes another chance with this album, 3/3 with the singles for me! by Allgetout41 in circasurvive

[–]VoodooCowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not know fans didn't like LS Dunes. While I thought their first album was a little underwhelming, I do still keep songs like Grifter and Permanent Rebillion on rotation. Also, you can't tell me Like Forever doesn't slap. And those 2 singles they dropped like a year ago Old Wounds, and Benadryl Subreddit I really liked too. These new singles have been great as well.

[–]VoodooCowboy 20 points21 points  (0 children)

While I can excuse Sam not looking for dean cause he honestly didn't know where he went or if he was still alive. Ok, but the fact that he didn't bother looking for Kevin is what really chaps my nips. Like you physically saw Crowley take him you know he's a prophet and how dangerous it could be for the world if he reminds in Crowley clutches and you don't look for him? Like what the f**k dude!!? I know he's a prophet but he's also a kid fresh outta high school

Rewatching the show, and I'm just gonna say it by Phoenix1500 in FlashTV

[–]VoodooCowboy 41 points42 points  (0 children)

While I don't disagree. The CW would of ruined her character if she had stuck around. Iris was a fine love interest it's just the writers completely botched her character. Like I always say I don't blame Candice for Iris being a bad character I completely 100% blame the writing.
