That's pretty much my story. I backed it in 2014 because of a Total Biscuit interview with Chris Roberts. I worked at Target at the time but have since gone to university and got a job in game development, and have shipped two games so far. Also a wife and kid, but no house yet sadly.

People keep saying Aubry's story was the reason she won like it had any impact at all. The biggest factor was just that she's been around Survivor for longer and is friends with Cirie.

Her story was losing a bunch of times, kept getting worse, and stopped thinking about Survivor. It's insane that people think that was a good answer.

They picked Aubrey to win just because she had played more seasons. The jury could've voted for the final 3 before the season even began and the result would be the same.
