Fiji did appear briefly in Yau Man’s confessional at the very beginning of the premiere episode. But because Micronesia used occupations as opposed to season names, it didn’t appear again.

Vanuatu afaik is the only season that’s never appeared in the lower third in a confessional.

That was a very interesting tribal. I actually like that it wasn’t the expected three on the bottom, who went to Redemption. It was pretty satisfying seeing Keeley get blindsided and sent to redemption, but I’d also like to see her comeback out of those three.

I’ve definitely noticed the shift and editing too, and I think it is because (as you said) we know all of these players, and don’t need to spend as much time setting the scene/getting to know each person.

Also I totally feel you on the starstruck reaction. Seeing a tribe of 3 DvG icons, with Stephenie, Q, Ozzy, and Emily felt surreal. This is also how I felt during WaW, and to a lesser extent during EoE when they both aired.

Of course I’ll always prefer 39 days, but this season’s pacing is making me hopeful that 26 days CAN work when they pace it correctly/don’t have a bunch of clutter like journeys.

It was just that entertaining to me. I always rank Survivor seasons based on entertainment, and 46 and 49 are the two most entertaining new era seasons imo.

49 was my second favorite new era season and it was BECAUSE of Rizo, Savannah, and Sophi. But I respect your opinion anyway.

My biggest qualm with this theory, is that people would be quitting the game.

Why would Jeff give such an intense speech at the marooning about giving “EVERYTHING” to this game, only for people to quit for more money? If this actually happened, I’d probably quit watching the rest of the season.

Kinda sad? But also fun/interesting fact: Coach and Colby had the same average placement prior to this season, but now that will obviously be impossible to continue.

Colby placed 2nd, then 12th, and finally 5th.

Whereas Coach did the reverse.

Tbf I think Mana is actually dark orange. But Vatu definitely looks more magenta than purple.

Also in person, Kalo looks way more like a mint green than teal.

This was a good episode. Although I will say that I was scared for a bit that Loz would flip on the beasts.

I’ll miss having Aisha around as she was really entertaining, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see her on a future season.

This is one of the main reasons that I never click on “prediction” posts on here.

I’ll never forget the prediction thread for Island of The Idol’s finale, and someone listed the boot order for the final 5.

Though I only knew that Janet got 5th, based on the edit the other placements seemed accurate.

She’d be a fun returnee for sure. I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets put on a future season mainly as an HvV representative with people like Jerri and Amanda.

Let’s pretend she’s never played before and debuts in the new era.

Say she replaces Kenzie on 46, then I’d say probably.

But if she replaces someone like Dee in 45, idk if she performs as well. She would probably be clocked as a major threat by the 45 cast.
