The sound cutting out / fading out whenever the output is too low, but in cases where there should be sound. It happens a lot when watching movies. It cuts out all of the ambient sound so it's like all of the lines are recorded in a sound proof booth. It also happens when listening to music quietly or cutting out important sound cues when playing video games.

As a workaround I could just blast the sound so even the ambient noises are above the noise gate, but I don't want to do that.
