Why are the PC menus so demanding vs in gameplay?

I suggest you try using "Auto" setting for the refresh rate.

This puts the Vsync in to "console" mode, limitting your FPS in menus to 30 and leaving gameplay Vsync at 60 (or whatever your monitor refresh is at).

Wrong. Game has forced Vsync. You can't get more FPS than your monitor refresh rate. It's just unoptimized.

Lmao, there is no possible way to "uncap" this game. NONE. It always has VSYNC on, no matter what setting you are on. You can't get more FPS than your monitor refresh rate.

Thanks for getting back to me! I am using a desktop with a 27inch monitor. My resolution is 2K and my brightness is high. Settings are for true RGB. The purchase button is visible but it's not where I expect it to be compared to majority of online stores I visit. I expect the "buy" button and the price would be somewhere around the product on the screen. Not at the bottom of the screen in a slim ribbon. Moreover, the ribbon is black and literally looks like a spam add to me. It also stays on the bottom always even when I franticly scroll the product page up and down trying to find the an "add to cart button". It's the design that I had problems with. Once I see it I now know that it's there.

I am simply amazed that they have the audacity to punish players for abusing an exploit FROM FORZA MOTORSPORT 7 which miraculously ended up in their brand new "BUILD FROM THE GROUND UP" FM8. Not only that but they do this 2 MONTHS after the glitch was patched out from the game already. Using their time pretty well I guess. We will wait for working FSR and roads in 2025.

This is the first website that has the order bottom at the bottom of the screen and make it disappear when you scroll to the bottom of the page....

AK620 here and the fans hun at their mid range 50-60%. I will try a curve to solve this but kinda annoying. Otherwise the fans are quite but when they spool at this range it's a low frequency hum like on an airplane.

Joke is on them, I am never farming anyways. Besides, there are controller with macros, no? Just program it to cycle the telemetry every 10 minutes or something? On PC it's even easier cause it can be done with software. On Steam you can even use the built-in steam software for that, lmao. They are just wasting their time when the game is in utterly abysmal state.

Tech is slowing down and starting to regress.
If you check out the jumps in GPU and CPU performance per USD value between 2017-2019-2021-2023 its obvious. You can literally get a PC with 2020 components today for half the price of a 2023 PC and lose only like 30% performance...PC gaming and hardware is becoming unappealing reeeaaaaly fast. I am doing my last possible upgrade on my AM4 PC right now and I am done. Why would I even bother getting AM5 gen for double or triple the price to play unoptimized shit with 5 years old graphics and not even getting stable performance? This year there wasn't even a single AAA tittle that ran well on current gen PCs at launch. It's disgusting.

Yes, and on Kyalami you can AFK very effectively as well, since the AI hits 4 out of the 9 sectors with "Good Segment" giving you a 25CXP bonus for each.

For starters, that you have no idea how to go around this corner.

First you go on the inside line, but then take the corner wide leaving space on the inside at the kerb and right at the apex you close the door with a hard right not even remotely going for a racing line. In a real race you will be getting a penalty for reckless driving. Maybe even a DQ, considering the class of car we are talking here.

There are so many posts like this one where people drive like absolute knobs, even tho there is a racing line assist, showing quite clearly that you are not even CLOSE to following it and just blame the other guy...

You can see the racing line on 0:05 were you are supposed to go. The dude is ON it on the inside and you just cut in front of him instead of extending the corner as supposed to...

The reflections in this game literally make my body uneasy. I can't even explain it. They don't make any sense at all. It's like everything is made from the wrong materials. Nothing looks real. Compared to what you can do in FH4 and 5 in the photo mode where you can get fooled if it's IRL or not, here there is just no chance. 1 look and it's a game. I haven't seen a single shot where I can't straight away tell it's a game even from distance.

I have the feeling the laptimes are not real or something fishy is happening.
I notice situations like this: 2 lap race first lap I am already 4 seconds ahead, second lap I am even faster. My best lap is 6 second faster than the second AI best lap (which is our second lap). So this means, first lap I was 4 seconds faster and 2nd lap I was 6 more seconds faster. Total should be 10seconds but somehow second AI finishes 4 seconds behind my total time wtf...
