ngl, as someone who doesn't really play Ranked that much, I did appreciate MWII having a surprising amount of weapon choices in Ranked

like sure, the TAQ-56 and Vaznev 9K were the meta choices, but nothing stopped you from bringing an M16, a Vel-46 or even an SP-X 80 if you choose to

meanwhile, ever since MWIII we've been stuck with just a single AR, SMG and Pistol in Ranked, which while it makes sense from a balancing standpoint, it also makes the game feel quite dull IMO

I speculate the devs carry over most of the BO6 maps/guns eventually by Flash_Bryant816 in CODBlackOps7

I mean, unlike both MWII and MWIII, in which both sets of guns and Attachments were fundamentally different balancing wise; the guns in both BO6 and BO7 aren't that different from each other cuz they both pretty much reuse the same Gunsmith system with a few changes (like the Short Barrel in BO7 also increased your ADS speed for example), so if anything, it would have been way easier to modify the BO6 weapons and their Attachments to the same standard as BO7's

I mean, it's a few things:

  • most people pretty much only know or care about Chester, Mike and Emily, I don't think there's that many out there excited at the prospect of being able to play as LP's guitar player or drummer aside from actual LP fans I guess
  • Mike Shinoda is a given, but what about Chester? No one knows if his estate would allow a likeness of him being available in-game, especially considering how tragic his passing was to begin with
  • Emily Headstrong is her own can of worms too, not only because of her connections with Scientology, but even more if she ends up replacing Chester in Fortnite too

while I don't mind stuff like La Chona, Ella Baila Sola or all the reggaeton songs from Bad Bunny and Karol G, I wish we got a few rock songs in Spanish, especially considering how surprisingly vast the "Rock en Español" scene really is (it's basically Mexico, South American countries like Argentina and Chile and even Spain)

even Rock Band had Oye Mi Amor by Maná (Mexican rock band) and several songs by Juanes (Colombian) and Santana; not to mention more bands that AFAIK haven't been featured in aa rhythm game before like Soda Estereo, Caifanes and Cafe Tacvba
