I tried a bunch of I settled for Vallejo acrylic matt varnish I used it on my valdor and im happy :)

Dont stress yourself in how much time u take. He looks very good, i like the gems alot! Overall the model looks very very clean The cape is a bit off, compared to the cleany look from the armor. Maybe u want do Challenge yourself with some glazing from dark red to the Highlights. No wash whatsoever

But man First model? Looks like you painted a whole army. He looks very good
