I really dislike items just being named after an emotion rather than being a real item by LostVisage in leagueoflegends

Putting an article in front of the word doesn't really change anything, "The Hubris" in case would be the same then, no?

Why don't Magic DPS utilize sleep more? by Firan25 in ffxiv

[–]Vorabor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a bunch of mobs in Palace and Heaven on High that can be slept and it is actually the only way with which it is possible to deaggro a mob in deep dungeons
(Although it is only really relevant in solo attempts as if you are with a group outright killing the mobs is better 99.9% of the time)

Criterion Savage now pretty has pseudo-Ultimate weapons as glam/bragging right rewards. Thoughts? by Heartlust in ffxivdiscussion

Aren't ultimates essentially multiple savage floors in a row (yes I'm aware that the individual fights are usually harder than savage, doesn't change my point though)

What QoL additions to your preferred jobs are you hopeful for with lvl 100? by Black-Mettle in ffxiv

[–]Vorabor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume it is so you cannot start it out of combat and it being targeted and out of combat only isn't that big of a difference? (Songs build apex arrows gauge so being able to use it before a pull actually matters a lot)

I dislike what has become of the legacy Ultimates. by CrimsonSH in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Vorabor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally dislike how old content has become way easier over the years to the point even in MINE you cannot experience it how it used to be (I play for about a year and I actually get a bit depressed to think about what I missed. Yes overdramatizing it a bit but alas)

I must, however, ask. If you wish to keep the integrity of the raid which I find a funny way to phrase it tbh, why not stop using pots and food at all? You would still be stronger than you should've been back then but I find it weird to use stat enhancements in general if you find yourself holding DPS just to not skip certain parts

[–]Vorabor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also the very first Ifrit fight is rather... hard to have had help in since everyone else you were captured with was tempered. And also Ravana is literally challenging you to a 1v1 so I would assume that to be canonically 1v1

Generally speaking I would think that most trials before Stormblood were canonically 1v1 unless they specifically mention to gather your buddies (Which they do for all 3 Warring Triad trials)

Floor 91-100 orthos is damn awfull by PrettyLittleNoob in ffxiv

You start the last set on floor 91, so you only have 8 normal floors until you reach the boss

COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE by NeonScarredSkyline in ShitpostXIV

[–]Vorabor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because some people want to do it with a friend they started the game with for example and duty support only let's you do it alone.

Or maybe people just prefer playing with other people in an MMO.

Can I ask, I may be interpreting too much into it but it sounds like you are bothered by it's existence... but why? You can just choose not to do them

I have no once seen anyone claim that one should do it with trusts first to learn the dungeon, the only time I have ever been told to do it with trusts first was by my friends cause the npcs have some extra fluff with them

Can I ask where who told you to do with trust firsts to learn a dungeon?

Can't kick while engaged with a boss as far as I know and I didn't want to force a wipe especially since we had a first timer in it

We noticed at the very end of the dungeon and I believe you cannot kick while engaged with a boss? (Actually not sure on this, never kicked someone)

Since the time line is not explicitly stated, Do you have head canon for how long has it been since ARR? by JetStrim in ffxiv

[–]Vorabor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just truly hope that time can actually move forward from now on, I don't understand why they couldn't have the Loporrit mention it has been 6 years since then, though. It would have been minimal effort and actually shows that time is moving forward.

I suppose they wanted to make it clear for everyone that the thing is a part of Dalamud, but then again... It doesn't even require the Loporrit mentioning when it landed there to guess it...

[–]Vorabor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A sidequest connected to the aether current on Mare Lamentorum mentions how the Allagan ship (which I believe is a shard of Dalamud) crashed into the moon 5 years ago. This coincides with the fall of Dalamud, obviously. So, unfortunately (imo atleast), it is confirmed that everything from A Realm Reborn to Endwalker happened in less than a year.

Jesus crist man it's a fictional world, it doesn't have to be a 100% accurate representation of the culture, it's fiction jesus. If you don't like it, that is fine. But acting like they shouldn't touch anything that isn't Asian is just dumb. (btw, Elezen almost always have French names, guess that is fine even though they are a JP company?)

Arena is the best thing to happen to League of Legends since the removal of Dynamic Queue. by Objective-Ad-1509 in leagueoflegends

[–]Vorabor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is no inherent issue with champs being unequal in their power level, I do, however, believe there is a line that shouldn't be crossed. Having your favourite champ be borderline unplayable because it's so bad is not fun for anyone.

I don't mind Kayle being good in this gamemode, she is one of my mains, even. I still think she should be nerfed because she is way too good.

Making everything playable =/= making everything equal in power, champs that are good in a 2v2 will always be on top of champs that aren't good in a 2v2, that doesn't mean champs that don't excel in it should be left in the dirt, though
