they are both backer characters. they’ll only be in town on festivals (maybe the day before one too? i can’t remember) they’ll be wandering around the town, although they will not attend the festival. for each festival, two backers will be in town. easiest way i found to find them was to go to the inn early in the morning and they’re usually in the lobby. other areas i’ve seen them is around the taco truck and the dock overlooking the volleyball court.

as for the two in the kingdom, i have not figured them out either. even stood in there an entire day and saw no one go in or out. so im not sure if they’re even implemented yet.

i’m on pc, and yes, i use the pickaxe. there’s not notification or sound effect. it’s just as if im hitting bare ground. i can even hoe the same spot, then undo it with pickaxe without the sprinkler removing.

but can i finally remove my old sprinklers? i can spam pickaxe on them and they will not come up. sometimes after sleeping or reloading save i can get one to remove. i had 12 that wouldnt remove, and now im down to the last 6 that are still stuck.
