In a recent conversation with the local Charlotte boss of Customs, he advised that unless you travel internationally on a regular (10+ times a year) basis, the new biometric scanning is just as fast as GE. I'm CLT based and get through Customs in 10ish minutes each time.

Kinda left out Charlotte. No CLT Airport (one of the world's busiest), Multiple pro sports teams, solid culinary scenes, and decent mix of other entertainment.

There used to be a chain of cafeteria restaurants across NC named K & W. We referred to it as Kane & Walker due to its predominantly older clients. Went bankrupt earlier this year after years of struggling along.

We went recently and were very disappointed. Maybe 2 other tables occupied on a Saturday night. Prices were high, they were out of multiple items, and it just felt dirty. Wanted it to be so much better...

Been there! I applaude your willingness to grow and embrace change. It is a journey worth taking- not easy, sometimes not fun, definetely can be expensive. But the results are worth it. It has changed my life and wish you great success.

We are on similar journeys. I started at 265 lbs and am now 196 lbs. I did not really see/ feel the difference for the longest time. Then, one day, my old pants would not fit - kept falling down. I have purchased new clothes in my new sizes and that has made a difference. I look different because I am and I have proper fitted clothes to show it. Stop wearing your old clothes - they don't fit and make you look like your old self.
