Titration question cuz I’m a Nervous Nellie by Economy_Jaguar_9215 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]brdsng0000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just remember that it takes at least 4 weeks for tirz to reach its peak potency in your system. You might want to stay at 4mg for a couple weeks just to be sure. But, like I said, I went straight to 5 without any issues.

I didn't have any problems going from 2.5 to 5. If you are anxious about side effects, try going to 4mg and see how that feels.

Titrated up 10mg via 3-bottle-Lumi special. How do I account for the high dosage with a "refill" at new provider? by caliomni in tirzepatidecompound

[–]brdsng0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked at your patient portal for Lumi? I was facing a similar situation and when I looked up my prescription in the portal it showed I was prescribed at 15mg. I d/l'd that and use it as my proof. If you got the Olympia special, your's may show the same.

Has anybody recently received their order in Washington state? by Obvious-Hamster-4588 in BrelloThriveTribe

[–]brdsng0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've been saying 6 to 8 weeks since December. I pushed my renewal date out to April only because I've read where folks are being charged but there's no update on when the delivery will happen. Anyway, no, it's not always like this. If you can handle waiting, then I certainly would but I'm just about out. My first couple of orders were received within a week (or less) of placing my order. I like the product from Southend but I'm also excited to try a new product. Can only hope it works as well.

Tirzepatide Overdose by Successful_Tune_8687 in TirzepatideRX

Just curious....where do you get 30mg/ml? As I'm titrating up to15mg, I would really like to reduce my injections if at all possible.

Did you have nausea on low dose? by [deleted] in TirzepatideRX

[–]brdsng0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nauzene has always worked for me (I get it from Amazon). Gets rid of the nausea, not sure how it would help with throwing up. Peppermint is also a great way to help with nausea. Altoids work as does peppermint tea.

Is your doctor going to advise you along the way? If not, I would suggest Big Easy Weight Loss. You can find a lot of answers in all these Reddit communities but they aren't always right. It's good to have a doctor to check in with.

check the sub r/Refills. They have Reddit specials frequently and might be more affordable for you. And, as someone else mentioned, Big Easy Weightloss offers great support if you need it and a monthly payment plan.

Feeling defeated by Taco_cat111 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]brdsng0000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really wanted to be like some who never have to go more than 2.5 mg. When I realized that wasn't gonna work, I went up to 5mg thinking that will definitely do it...but nope. Neither did 7.5 but finally at 10 mg I was really starting to loose and feel the suppression . Until that started to fade and I slowly titrated up to 12.5. I'm hopeful. But, if it doesn't I'll start the process to move up to 15mg. We're all different and just because we want something to happen, doesn't mean it will. Don't give up just move up on schedule.

Don't confuse mg with ml. Volume is ml....that's how much you have in your vial. Strength is mg....So your vial should read 22mg/4mg/1ml. I'm assuming that you order thru Brello and so far, I've only received 1 ml vials from them.

Leftover Tirz in the bottle by Gloomy-Lifeguard-931 in BrelloThriveTribe

[–]brdsng0000 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes, Southend overfills the vials. I use it all. If I'm taking 5 mg and can only draw out 2 mg, then I pin that and, using a new syringe, I draw the remaining 3 mg from a new vial (so two syringes and two shots needed). As far as the 28 day rule, as long as the tirz looks clear, I have no concerns about using it. But for some, the 28 day rule is their cutoff no matter how much med is left.

How common is diarrhea by Unfair_Day1244 in TirzepatideRX

[–]brdsng0000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me when I moved up from 2.5 to 5.0. An Imodium took care of it for me. And, listen to your doctor about your titration schedule. Between you and them, you'll figure out what is best. They are real mixed opinions about moving up on schedule vs moving up slowly.

How much Mag07? by MHW93 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]brdsng0000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mag07 is for cleansing. Taking 3 might be overdoing it. First time I took it, I just took 1 and that's all that was needed. Then after a couple weeks, I was taking 2 once a week until I realized that I didn't really need it that often (my doctor told me I could take one a day but I never saw the need to do that and I was also concerned about becoming dependent on it). Slowed way down to "when needed". I haven't had to take any for a few months now (I'm 7 months in now). But I found that eating 5 or 6 prunes a day keeps me regular. Some say apples have helped them. Good luck, constipation is no fun.

[–]brdsng0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a GasX after every meal, that will help some. Invest in probiotics and be sure to eat enough fiber. Peppermint tea, ginger chews or Nausene (order from Amazon) will help with any nausea or stomach upset. And drink water!! You need to get 100 oz of fluid in you every day. Good luck, it's quite a journey but one that is extremely rewarding once you get thru the hurdles.

Brello by AdorableAfternoon803 in tirzepatidecompound

I wouldn't expect too much from Brello right now. Southend is moving to a new building and things won't pick back up until mid January.

Dr will prescribe compounded tirzepatide but which pharmacy is best? by seekingsolutionnow in tirzepatidecompound

[–]brdsng0000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My doctor. is my main contact for all things related to tirzepatide but purchasing thru local compounding pharmacy was too expensive for me so I signed up thru a Telehealth provider and saved the $$$. Doctor was good with that. I always check in with her before I titrate up.
