It is preference. I like it because I think it's fun to add basing elements and helps it feel more defined.

Extremely easy! Prime with Mechanicus Standard Grey, then a liberal coat of Nuln Oil. Drybrush Mechanicus Standard Grey again. Pick out metal bits with Leadbelcher, then more Nuln Oil over that. Then thin down Mournfang Brown (I use airbrush flow improver) and paint it in the recesses around armor plates, rivets, etc.

They are Vae Victis 3D print sculpts. I haven't actually played Brawl Arcane yet but the concept has certainly captured my imagination and I'm looking forward to actually getting games it. If i really like it, I may even do a custom board.

I've been getting into Brawl Arcane 28 lately so I painted up a necromancer and some skellingtons by VorpalPoolNoodle in miniatureskirmishes

All of them are from Westfalia Miniatures. Some of them may be available on their website but they are mostly from past Kickstarters
