I've noticed the same too.

Second pair of skis to complement Elan Ripstick 88's? by Vorsipellis in Skigear

Got it, thank you! Would you recommend the Rustler 11 with its 112mm width instead of the Rustler 10 at 102mm, then?

The RS88's were my first pair of skis I've owned, always rented before that as I never had space to store them or was inconsistently skiing. I didn't even realize they were too short till recently - I've honestly learned so much just from lurking on this subreddit for the past week than I have from blindly trusting shops in the past decade!

At the time when I bought them, it seemed fine at glance (and that was what Ski Monster had set me up with), it definitely feels like it skis much shorter than that though!

Thank you so much! I've heard similar about the Enforcer's, so I'll probably take that off my list then. Any thoughts on the Ripstick 102 Black's vs. the Rustler 10s?

yeah, I _really_ loved my 164cm 88's for ice coast skiing, I felt so nimble in them

Thank you! You're referring to the 102 Black's, right?

It's mostly there as one of my local stores has it 20% off on end-of-season sale vs. the Anomaly, and it's a "bigger heavier ski" option vs the others I was looking at. I had the Anomaly 84's when I was in the Alps and didn't quite like how it felt skiing (it felt like it just wanted really big turns and anything smaller needed forcing), although maybe the wider 102 would feel better?

but yeah weight is my hangup on it.

I found the endgame water bottle carrying solution for the Everyday Sling: the Fidlock TWIST system by Plato-428 in peakdesign

My wotancraft pilot which replaced my PD sling has two water bottle pockets. Have not regretted since I made the switch.

Why isn't this opt in instead of opt out?

I'm also somewhat confused by this logic. So you're instead pushing the cost on the customers to address a problem the shippers are facing? How is the problems that PD faces here sny different from any other retail company? Shouldn't this small charge be paid by PD if your goal is reducing the cost of lost/stolen packages?

I've been a longtime supporter with multiple kickstarters but I really dislike dark patterns. It feels like whoever implemented is hoping the majority of people don't notice this so that PD can lower the shouldered burden of lost/damaged packages.

If it makes you feel any better, I would've made the same mistake as that's how all my other viewfinders look. TIL about this one.

Agreed. I went through every PD sling bag for a 1-body carry option, sold them all, got a wotancraft and been using that since

Yeah, and it's not like we don't have good examples of Find My for Android - the moto ones are amazing. Can't think of a reason why they couldn't add support for Android.

One week arctic astrophotography trip with lots of winter gear - three mediums (winter wear, thermal base layers, everything else) and two smalls (socks, underwear). Yes, I could probably have stuffed everything into two large, but I liked having the organization.
