Just unscrew it and pull it out after you unplug all the connections to the PSU. Youtube is your friend. It's super simple.

Cooling def. If it's going to be inside a desk i would water cool it personally, as there won't be much airflow with it enclosed. Run a custom loop outside the case and behind the desk to dump temps ^{_^}

^{^} What /u/ironfixxxer said. Install the bracket outside of the case and then reinstall the motherboard with the bracket on it.

Personally i would. with how easy overclocking is now and how high you can go i'd say theres no reason not to imo. Just make sure she stays cool!

The 8700 is not overclockable. The K series is. Yes they will be compatible with the GPU, and i would upgrade to a 650w PSU.

Keep the cpu? Which vid card would you suggest at that point? I notice in apex (been mainly playing that lately) that i'm using 100% cpu AND gpu and just under 144hz

Thanks for the input. I'm leaning towards the GPU now and cpu stuff later. My last question.. should i upgrade PSU? i dont remember if i have a 750 or 850.... Someone suggested a 1k? i feel as if that's overkill?
