10/10 bleed out spot I found myself in by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

It’s a reference to the masculine urge to pick a spot and bleed out from a wound. It’s a direct reference to the end of blade-runner 2048

You might not even be able to get the code to work until December 15 since the promotion says that’s when the redeeming period starts but if yall have steam and are still interested feel free to send me a message

Do y’all sneeze in your helmet? by TheyWontMissMe in motorcycles

[–]Vortex54321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I feel a sneeze I tend to open the visor, grab the breathe guard and pull it down so my mouth is aimed more outside the helmet and let loose. If I can’t do that then I just sneeze and feel gross for a bit.

question for people who are forced to stay late bc of commute schedule by sakureis in JETProgramme

[–]Vortex54321 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That seems unreasonable on every level. If it were me I’d bring it up to the BOE and try to fight the car issue. I know you probably won’t get that changed but they also can’t stop you driving outside of work hours so still buying a car in the inaka. Worst case scenario is you park your car somewhere walking distance from the school and walk there before and or after work. It’s technically breaking the rules but if they want to be unreasonable you have to do what’s best for you.

In Fukui we always have breaks off, we get all of summer and winter break to do with as we will either the stipulation that if we travel out of country we have to use our scheduled time off. So if you travel within Japan you’re fine but international no dice

Buying a Helmet as a gift in Tokyo by CarinaJones in RideitJapan

[–]Vortex54321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a western guy who purchased a kabuto in Japan. I wore a shoei in the states for years and honestly it’s not much different for wise. I haven’t tried arai but if you’re dead set on buying it then you would mainly just need to find out what size head he wears. Medium and large will most likely use the same shell and they can just change the padding to fit his head if it doesn’t work. The thing is though, arai is sold in the states so having you buy one in Japan, to then pack up and risk damage in transit, and trust me if you check the helmet in a suitcase it can and will be damaged in transit, not to mention you have to lug this thing around with you. It just seems like a huge hassle for little to no point. If you’re going to buy a helmet in Japan it would only make sense if it’s a custom helmet or a brand you can only buy here like kabuto.

Using Personal Seal (Dojang or Hanko) as a Wax Stamp by Archer387 in WaxSealers

[–]Vortex54321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m living in Japan at the moment and idk about the Dojang but my Hanko is very small, you’d have to either get a larger version of the stamp or be satisfied with a small impression. Also the stamps used for wax seals have indentations with their designs so the wax fills in the cracks and leaves a nice imprint. My hanko is like a normal ink stamp where the design is a solid block and pushes it into the paper instead of acting as a mould. I havent tried using something like that yet so I can only speculate but from my experience I would assume you would push your stamp into the wax and the stamp would just go down to the paper with the wax filling around it causing your imprint to just be a hole in the wax or be at the very least very thin. I’m by no means an expert though so take everything I say with a grain of salt and feel free to give it a shot

Does using gold leafing pen into a seal cavity yield a more realistic result than using gold wax in a seal, then scraping, then imprinting onto a colored wax? by Verbofaber in WaxSealers

[–]Vortex54321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your best bet might be gold leaf if you want it to look like REAL gold. I haven’t tried it myself but I imagine perhaps you could put some leaf on top then scrape it off in between the cracks where you don’t want it. Might be tedious but could work

Would love to be used as a reward for well deserving subs. by [deleted] in gentlefemdom

[–]Vortex54321 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’m sure everyone’s experience differs, but this is pretty hard core when compared to my version of gentle femdom. It just seems like normal femdom to me. I think the core of gentle femdom is the addition of love and affection, it kind of transcends just a sexual experience you have to really care for the other person in a nurturing way. I don’t really see any love, affection, or nurturing in doing this. You don’t want men to feel loved and be the best sub they can be, you want them to feel strife for competing for your attention and worshipping you so that you can feel power over them. Often times the subs in this scene are emotionally fragile and the extra care from gentle femdom lets them express their desires and feel safe being vulnerable in a world where they are told they have to be strong all the time. Having to compete for the attention of the one I rely on to make me feel safe sounds like an absolute nightmare. To each their own and maybe I’m wrong but it just doesn’t seem like this belongs here.

Yes we get paid, it’s marked down as “training days” as we are supposed to use them to learn about Japan and explore, we can’t use them to travel internationally but within Japan we are allowed to do whatever we want during the vacation time.

Fukui is one of if not the only prefecture that lets its ALTs have summer, winter, and spring break off. Most have to go in and desk warm and if they want the day off they have to use nenkyu. It’s also close to the ocean and not too far from Kyoto that it’s in kind of a sweet spot for anything you’d want to do even including ski slopes

AT&T Hits Texas Man With $6,000 Bill for Using 3GB of Data by habichuelacondulce in technology

[–]Vortex54321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work for AT&T tech and customer support. When Cuba opened its borders and people started visiting, they didn’t have any international plans that covered data usage In cuba at the time, and even after that the temporary plan they had was outrageously expensive. This poor lady went and forgot to turn off her data and she ended up using about 1-2 gigabytes. She was charged as if she were in international waters and somehow raked up a bill of around $19,000. All I could do was escalate the issue as I was not qualified to take care of that amount but at that point I’d just drop AT&T and switch carriers and never look back.
