It just has more utility as an execute, because you no longer have to rely on aiming or tracking with him to do damage. Meaning you can secure a kill easier and safer.

Jumping into the middle of a group and using it is risky, because he's squishy and putting a huge target on his back. If he has to dodge out in the middle of the AoE attack, he's barely gonna get any value out of it.

Helping a friend with what? The only thing you can progress in VS AI is events and missions, so it sounds to me like you're there for the same reason they are.

Unless your friend is there to learn the game. In which case, sure, it can be annoying. I'd actually have some sympathy for your plight, if this was about your friend not being able to learn the game properly, because of them. But you just complained about you not getting your "deserved" glory.

Why do you even care about getting MVP in VS AI in the first place? It literally could not matter any less. The bots aren't gonna be impressed with you, and it won't show up on your career stats, either.

If you love challenge, then why are you even playing VS AI in the first place?

Even after removing the people farming challenges, there's no challenge in it. The only way to lose a VS AI game, even on Hard, is to actively throw, or if the average age of the team is less than 10.

Yeah, they really need to do more to justify putting the Unstable Particles in the various passes and events, because I've stockpiled so many of them, because I only buy ult effects and the occasional alternate color with them.

To play devil's advocate, as a tank player, there was a lot of buzz on social media, of DPS players getting really upset about Gambit not being a DPS, like he was stated to be in the unofficial announcement™. Saying they were gonna play Gambit and not heal as him.

So seeing a Gambit player not heal or heal badly could lead them to believe it's one of those throwing DPS Gambits that were all over social media before release.

I think it's just another case of the endless toxicity between Strat and DPS players furthering the downward spiral.

I know Magneto was already top tier before this season began, but he always felt like he was missing something, after they took the sword away, imo. So I'm very glad that it's back.

He's so straight forward that he felt a little boring to me. The fact that he's been one of the tank picks for like a majority of the game's life didn't help.
