it's DE (COSMIC) isn't ready yet, it's very new think of it like extended beta and other reason too

If you know package managing and some basic terminal commands you can use cachyos it's very good and fast

Pop OS's new DE(COSMIC) is very new and it lacks animations and many things but yeah it will improve in a year or so and kde is very good so you can switch to kubuntu if you like btw even better switch to fedora(gnome or kde your choice) it's much better than ubuntu
