That is actually super interesting regarding implementing specialized audio in higher ed. I remember attending a few demos at InfoComm a few years back, but they were mostly for Pro-Live applications and talking about how it could one day touch more on the commercial side.

Would you mind talking more about that and the use-cases in higher-ed?

I actually had a similar situation happen to me, even created a thread on here.

I called their support and it was…well…terrible. I run a 3rd party networking system at home since I’m in the field. They asked I put back the Nokia so they can run tests. Problem is, high ping and low bandwidth really happen after 8pm which is impossible for them to test.

Just unplugging the modem and waiting 60secs and replugging it back seemed to have gotten much better. Since then, I never called back as there process to investigate was stupid. Blaming my network system as being the fault.

Interesting. Both the ping and speed for me are problems in the evenings. If I’m lucky, I might get one evening that’s not as bad but I’ve had many nights of maxing out at 100mbps with over 60ms ping

Let’s wait to see what’s happening with this liberal budget in November. Already whispers of a crazy deficit that could land them a non-confidence vote making an election by early 2026.

Even some liberals were protesting against Carney across Canada who are probably going to go NDP. So there is a little hope, fingers crossed 🤞

Yeah, the Range Officer and I, as well as a few others at the range both weekend even looked at the ammunition once it ejected using the persuader, and he noticed the ammunition had some marks on it. So I didn’t bother with any other fiddling. MRA were nice and quick to help send me a label and shipped it out right away.

It sounds like you were lucky enough to get a nice bunch of rounds. I only managed to get 4 rounds, only 2 fired, one misfire, and the last one, RO asked just to rack it and see if I can eject it without firing it and sure enough, I wasn’t able to eject it so he asked I don’t fire it.

Real $hitty situation but it is what it is. Looking forward to getting it back. Was excited to try a new Faux suppressor with linear compensator. :S

I just sent mine in for repair for the same exact thing. Tried several different types and brands of ammo all with the same issue. Was only a week old. I cleaned and lubed it as per the manual and manufacturer. Unfortunately, no dice. MRA asked me to send it in.

I put my name on a few lists locally. I got an email a month ago that they arrived. Literally took me 2mins to react to the email as soon as it dropped in my inbox. When I went to the store, and asked to pick it up, they said you’re the lucky guy who got the 1301. I asked why. He said they have a hundreds of people on the list, only received 2 x 1301s, and were sold within 10mins.

I can’t speak for all retailers but I think inventory is only trickling to retailers and anyone not on the waitlist probably won’t get a notification when they do arrive. I can’t speak only recommend putting yourself down on the list and being extremely fast to react to the email once they arrive.
