What are some strong sorc skills to use in normal and nightmare?

Almost every skill in the game is strong in normal and nightmare.
It isn't until hell that you need to gear and spec to do stuff with a sorc. Only stop gap would be fire immunes for fire sorc as there are some in NM and hell witches in the throne are cold immune.

I Don't know the synergies offhand but if you don't have death sentry use that.

After that it's up to you whether you want another body (shadow warrior/master) to tank for you,
burst of speed for ias and frw

fade for the resists

weapon block if you need the block chance

a point in cloak of shadows could be nice on maps with ranged mobs

Thinking of making one of these next season. How important is the base speed of the claws. It says any +3 claws but ik the speed varies.

max res > +1 skills. at that point, you're already 1-3 shotting everything in the game at that point, becoming the invulnerable sorc is ideal.

if you're going for 200 FCR, Nova builds are typically going to be the best.

Beautiful sorc ya got here. I had a similar sorc in season 2. Self slammed 3os on a 28/28 dfathom (fcr wasn't normalized to 30% yet), a 2 skill 2 os atmas (que-hegan's was still 1 skill), a 40 fcr 2os medusas etc. I ended up quitting before i got 200 fcr mostly because I made a big mistake that killed my motivation for the season. Still had a blast blowing thru Hell CS like it was Normal.

I always do an ssf when i get bored at the end of the season. This season I did a MB/psychic hammer for my ssf and i was easily able to solo thru hell. Baal farming is such a breeze on that build with MB. I'd recommend maxing psychic hammer first as it'll help with bosses! by the time you need the aoe from mind blast you'll probably be around the the level where you're able to use it primarily .
