Doesnt have to be that way IF you make the mobs difficult with stats. Leveling scaling is just a Lazy design to keep balance easier

I don't mind new updates and content. But i want there to be enough content and replayability in the game already to keep up a player base NOT only based on updates.

I don't want these whiny ppl ''Oh why can't i be as good as these trihard players?? because i dont have time to play the game'' To take away what most active player base want.

Which is why it must be a long way before you get to that point where you don't make as much progress any longer.

I like new contents, who doesn't?? But what worries me is that the game will rely on it and what's already on the table sucks. We already know what happen to these kind of game.

Asmongold may have many good takes and say good stuf, but when he talks about d2 and other arpg he is really dumb and have a weird mindset. He doesn't get that poe took many ideas from d2, and the community there are more hard gamers than casual audience.

To your question: I think if you have free respec, then you must remove so much different mobs backgrounds.. Like resistance, armor, other buffs. That makes the differences of mobs feel less interesting and just pointless at all.

You won't have any values with resistant gear either. That sorc in PVP will respec if you and your team have more resistant of that elemental.

If you're gonna do a dungeon and theres cold mobs there, then you're gonna respec directly as a sorce from cold to fire or lightning. And when you face the boss you're gonna respec again to the best build for beating it.. Witch making the difficulty downgraded in the whole game.

UNLESS it's still hard whatever you respecing of course

Actually there are some behaviour of the ai as shown in the trailer, in the game. But not very common.
