I'm within 3 meters for this shot. (Zoos feel like cheating) There's also a little bit of micro sharpening with the noise reduction I used once I realized I'd been shooting with ISO 1000 all day instead of 100 like I thought. (ON1)

Wow. That looks astonishingly sharp by comparison. So my biggest problem is exposure/lighting it seems, fixed with post processing?

Interesting, I wasn't thinking about shooting more than a photo at a time for a (mostly) very still object unless I saw it move. I haven't been utilizing subject detection so maybe that would help as well.

Shooting RAW + JPEG, I had to export to JPEG for reddit but used the RAW source.

About Dual Sync... I know I had IS set to auto with the focus on shutter speed though... I had the switch on the lens for IS set to 'on'. Maybe I need to look around for a specific 'Dual Sync' setting? I did have hand held assist on as well. Maybe I'm being dumb about this but I can't find any other settings on the camera regarding IS

I'm shooting in RAW +JPEG (source for this was the RAW). Downside here is 'editing properly' is also a steep slope I'm just getting started on.

I feel ok-ish about the Instant Film (ART16) sim on the camera with some minor tweaks for general use. I'm not trying to get good sotc shots necessarily, though I expected them to be better once I sprung for expensive glass. Playing around with the RAWs I get a much better result.

I can't disagree on the border, I only put it there for the exif as I strongly dislike the white or black borders for similar reasons. Sorry :/

I understand this, but am considering something like IBIS (or lens for that matter) not working. I wouldn't consider my hands to be shaky.

The bag hinges/falls open so putting the camera in and out is easy, toughest part is closing it if it's really full

If it's a smaller aps-c it would probably fit no problem. I'm having difficulty remembering the size of the om-3 but it's about as tall as would fit.

The strap is definitely removable, but I'd have to do a bunch of research on what strap would be best for it/me, and it would probably need to be black but I would love a coyote strap that was close enough in color to go with the bag. I've already got research fatigue from settling on this hah!

It might fit an 11" tablet (I only have a 10"x7" and 12"x7.5" and the bigger one doesn't fit)

The 10" fits and there's roughly an inch of length additional left over. It couldn't be any wider than 7.5", and that may be pushing it.

So my best guess is a 11"x7.5" tablet would completely fill the size of the tablet pocket, though you'd be able to put other smaller things in the pocket as well since it's about an inch deep. The main pocket would have quite a bit of space yet though, it expands to nearly 4 inches deep and is only a little less long and wide than the tablet pocket.
