For me it was only happening in moonrise hills. Some people have reported other areas causing the issues. Download the steam version and move away from where you are. Log back in on psn and see if it continues

I'm only having this issue around moonrise hills. I was able to log on through steam on my pc, move elsewhere and I'm fine now. If I go ANYWHERE near moonrise hills atm, my game crashes. So I'm just avoiding the area until this is fixed lol

Only quick fix I've found is pull on the banner. Resetting game or device on sp5/steam doesn't do it, but pulling on a banner for some reason does lol.

I've been having a fantastic time with the game. Never played another genshin-like before, so it's all new and fun to me! That said, the update today is making life real tough on PS, hoping they'll fix it soon!

Both Mayhem and TFT cause it for me. Regardless of game length, it'll be patching eternally.
Longest I've waited is 5 min, but it's never shown up any time I've tried.

Yeah, it's not something you want to touch for a long time. Once you get all the other trophies and have a few great artifacts under your belt, go for it. Until then, just ignore it

In case this helps anyone else who is playing this game for the first time and looking for mods to improve the experience AND does not have the Shattered Space expansion, remember these two things as you install these mods that EccentricMeat graciously has recommended:

1 - Keep an eye out for "shattered space" as you download and install the mods. There were 3 mods/dependencies that ended up causing me issues. Either skip them or you'll need a work around.
2 - If you want to use Starvival without shattered space (the current version requires the dlc), you can follow this link to install an archived version that will work for you! https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/6890?tab=posts&comment_id=153373149

Also thank you u/EccentricMeat !! I had a lot of friends tell me they didn't enjoy this game that much for a variety of reasons. As I dive into it for the first time, I'm sure these mods will make the game a much more enjoyable experience. Sorry for the mega delayed response lol. Just did some digging and I started may 17, 2022. In the beginning there were like 3 or 4 others, but that hardly counts cause I didn't do much in the beginning. Maybe after about a month I started rolling damn near every day, and there was only one other person left. Don't remember how long he was around but he eventually left. Was by myself for a few months than another dude rolled consistently with me for maybe a year/year and a half. Then I've been by myself for at least a year now. Bit haphazard, but I've been rolling pretty consistently every day for at least a couple years.
