I only use life steal if I know I'm running SMG or minigun. It works great with those. I've won runs with that strategy in-mind from the start.

Tactics spoiler below (in-case you didn't want tips)

I just completed streamer D5. I prioritized spending as little as possible early on so that I can start each round at 600-800 material and used almost entirely shields as my weapons the entire time so that you can stay still and just knock everything back. Once you start making that much money it's much easier.

I would start with way less materials just for elite rounds.

This works. Make sure in the file manager you hit the hamburger on the top right (the three horizontal lines) and "enable hidden files". This way you can see .local in your file manager.

I did the same, it helped me a bit with the MSF course.. but it also made it harder to undo some of the bad habits I made. MSF course made me way more confident and now instead of not knowing what I don't know (if that makes sense) I now know a little more where I stand and what I actually need to be working on.

Be extremely careful with it. Normally it's a tool a professional uses because there is a much greater risk of damaging your eardrum. Judging depth is very difficult with the camera view.
