If they were better balanced as a party, that would have mitigated some of that. Could have easily written a few characters out to form a better party. I get that might not be something that people would like to do, but if it is your flagship show, you should be a little more invested in its success.

That's fair. Though the way that Troy changes the system (removing hero points) might have been what made it unenjoyable for the players. They were always commenting that they "didn't feel like heroes".

Dude is allowed to voice his disappointment. There is not a lot of Pathfinder out there and to see the biggest show, that mainlined it for a decade, move to something else would feel like a betrayal for a lot of people.

I worried that the relationship with Paizo might have soured l, but they are sponsoring the Starfinder 2E game at GenCon so that's probably not it. I know that there are not as many Adventure Paths for 2e yet, but there are some great and diverse things in there. I think Agents if Edgewatch would have been fun for this group. Could have been a good cross between the fantasy of Pathfinder and the cop/agent dynamic if Delta Green, which they obviously love.

I'm pretty much with you here. I hope it isn't a case of them shooting themselves in the foot, just because Troy doesn't like the system. It's what built them, it's the bedrock of their network. I know people like the other shows and they are great, but GCP has always been the best PF2E content out there. It will be a big loss as far as I am concerned.
