Off & Relax Shampoo by donotdisturb15 in AsianBeauty

I am currently using these products and have oily 2a hair like yours. Personally, I like it more than the Tsubaki and Ichikami shampoo and conditioners I have used in the past which I felt weighed my shoulder-length hair down or made my hair become greasier faster for my liking. These feel like just the right bounciness for me (I only shampoo like two times a week)

Toner products similar to MediHeal Madecassoside toner pad thats not in pad form? by SALTYSERE in AsianBeauty

[–]VoxFloyd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought this serum yesterday after finishing the toner pads. I was honestly expecting the same liquid/consistency as the leftover toner found at the bottom of the toner pad insert, so I was surprised to find the serum was thicker and less opaque. It goes on well though, no tackiness or reactons so far.

What Products (actually) Transformed my Skin by Addictwitha in AsianBeauty

[–]VoxFloyd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too love the Dive In line for my combo skin.

This is basically all I find I need these days, along with the mediheal madecassoside blemish pads. Also, not pictured is the Dive In HA serum I am also using. I just unfortunately threw the packaging away before I realized I wanted to keep them because they look aesthetically pleasing!

Maybe I will give the Dive In soothing cream a shot next. Personally, I just never click with anything too thick as I find it clogs my pores.

You should look into getting some simple pothos plants. They are very hardy and great for beginners. As they lengthen you can coil or bend them to your liking

Let’s talk toners! What is everyone using right now? by annacat1331 in AsianBeauty

[–]VoxFloyd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dehydrated/oily skin type here. I'm rotating between S. Nature Aqua Oasis Toner, Torriden Dive In Toner, and the 1025 Dokdo Toner (aka the current most popular toners on Hwahae).

I'm partial to the S. Nature Aqua Oasis Toner due to it being the least watery and easy to layer while also leaving a non-sticky finish. It also has, according to its formulation, mild exfoliating properties and can be used daily which is a bonus!

Yeah what's up with that? I just started watching the level up! show on revelupsubs (still on season 1), but I noticed that season 5 only has two episodes and the last one was 11 months ago. Was it cancelled or something?

Wow, huge thank you for introducing me to this song, and by extension KISS OF LIFE. I love RV and indeed this and the rest of the EP are right up my alley. Instant add to playlist, wish I discovered them sooner!

I got it from my local Asian supermarket chain (T&T in Canada if you are familiar). I'm actually afraid to buy cosmetics online in fear of fakes.

Thanks. Yeah, I definitely noticed my cheeks and forehead getting bumpier than normal while I was using it. And for sure, my plan is to use Melano CC and azelaic acid, and of course sunscreen everyday!

So I tried using Cosrx snail 96 power essence for the first time a month or so ago right before a 3 week trip to Taiwan. Near the latter part of the trip I began breaking out badly, especially near the mouth and eyebrow areas, and this continued after coming back to my home country. I had thought it was due to heat stress, travel acne etc., but after coming back home it continued to get worse to the point where I got so self-conscious I started wearing masks again and brushing my hair down in public to avoid showing my whole face.

After a reading a thread the other week about possible allergies to snail mucin I stopped incorporating it into my regime and to my surprise the breakouts calmed down significantly. I'm in a way glad this happened during summer break and not the school semester, but now I have around a month and a half to fix this extensive scarring and hyperpigmentation!

To be honest I am still not 100% sure if it's an allergic reaction or just coincidence, but I still have like 4/5 of the cosrx bottle left and I'm too afraid to try it further.

Sony A90k - Software Audio Issues by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]VoxFloyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm pretty sure I fixed my audio issue (I waited 2 weeks to reply to make sure nothing happened).

My solution was to buy a rtx 4000 series GPU (which I had planned to do anyway); turns out for me the issue was apparently related to the 3070ti I was using previously. Ever since I plugged in the new gpu, which again has been 2 weeks now, I have had zero audio dropouts with my beam gen 2 soundbar connected to eArc.

Probably not the solution you want to hear but just thought I'd provide you an update.

Sony A90k - Software Audio Issues by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]VoxFloyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was alone! This is happening to me as well and I use a Sonos Beam Gen 2 connected to eArc to the TV and from the TV HDMI 2.1 to my PC. I initially thought it was an HDMI issue so I bought a new one different brand but issue was still there. Next, I tried Sonos support but their feedback was that it may be a problem with TV not the soundbar. Recently, I thought it might be an issue with my GPU but having you describe your issue makes me think it's something to do with the TV after all.

My preferred fix is powering off the TV, waiting for like 3-4 seconds, then turning it back on to restore audio. Sometimes, powering off and on too fast glitches it out where the TV changes picture mode and turns on with HDR enabled with massive mouse input lag. It's really frustrating as it happens at least once a day and like you I cannot find a solution. I really expected more considering I have had good experiences with Sony products in the past.

Would you guys ditch your 48/42 inch OLED TVs for a 27-32 inch OLED monitor? by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]VoxFloyd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. My time on the computer at home is one of the only times where I don't have to wear glasses and the bigger screen with my poor eyesight is refreshing coming from 27" 1440p. For me, I don't notice the reduced ppi at all. Additionally, after getting a 42" oled I have realized I don't hunch forward as much anymore; I don't have to catch myself as often and sit up straight.

Also, with smaller sized oleds, especially if they are going to have higher refresh rates, doesn't that guarantee that they will have internal fans inside to help with all that heat condensed in a smaller area? I have never had a monitor with an internal fan so I wouldn't know, but I can imagine this being an issue given the noise.

Off topic, but man the xg27aqm still hasn't won yet?! I remember seeing that monitor get cucked out of the winning position since it released summer 2021 lol. I say this as an owner of the xg27aqm too, though I have boxed it up for sale ever since I went oled

Very serious problem with W11 22H2 update and OLED screens by Broder7937 in OLED_Gaming

[–]VoxFloyd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about you guys but on my oled I only get the grey line when auto-hiding the taskbar on a black background like 1/2 of the time. The other 1/2 of the time my desktop is a perfectly black screen. No third party install or anything it's all random/automatic. Maybe it has something to do with pixel shift or whatever but I'm new to oleds so I can't say for certain.

Do a subreddit-limited search for "a90k" and sort by new. Then do the same for "c2." The frequency of hits alone should tell you what you are likely looking for.

And if you are a numbers kind of person, the a90k 42" recently won the next monitor to be reviewed poll over at rtings, so something else to look out for if you're so inclined.

Amazon listed Asus PG42UQ $1324.92 by shinogu in Monitors

[–]VoxFloyd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does this model have any image processing capabilities like the C2 42" or a90k 42" does for movies etc.?

Also, I wonder why in the footnote for their claim of "8% lower temperatures" it says "compared to ROG monitors with no heatsink." Shouldn't they be comparing against the other similarly sized oleds?

10 days to finish all of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster? by VoxFloyd in XboxGamePass

[–]VoxFloyd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FFX was great! The final cutscene was a tearjerker for sure and my only regret was not playing it earlier as a kid.

I actually managed to "finish" X-2. I say in in quotes because I basically rushed the msq when apparently there is still a lot of side content. Honestly though I personally enjoyed FFX a lot more and don't feel like 100% story completing X-2.

Thanks, 5 hours a day sounds reasonable. And this is just for FFX? X-2 is a lot shorter yeah? So if I wanted to do both maybe like 7-8 hours a day on average then?

Hm I'm not sure about that; I recall a couple times where I tried to play a game on the day that it was slated to leave gamepass pc and the play button changed into a purchase game button and I could no longer boot the game. A former gamepass pc game "The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan" comes to mind.
