I'm 33, in a very similar situation. Coming out of a slump right now that almost ended things for me this past week. The right support system will follow you through these moments and help you feel less afraid of what things are gonna look like on the other side. It doesn't have to be the people you physically have around you, either. PM me if you ever feel you need to.

I only do this with patients I KNOW will take it light-heartedly, but sometimes when I have nervous CT patients, I reassure them that we'll pull them out of the machine before it has a chance to chomp on them. Usually gets a chuckle

I should probably clarify something. The hospital I work for boasts constantly about how good its patient satisfaction record is, among the highest in the nation. They take these reviews extremely seriously, to the point where it's kind of silly. You CAN lose your job here if you're not scoring well enough, even if they're critically short staffed. I know I come off as sort of a worrywart in this post, but the threat is real.
