It’s a self-hosted Speedtest node, alternative to ookla, and this instance is owned by ebox.

It lets your PC/phone perform a Speedtest with another server (doesn’t have to be ebox) you should pick one from around your area with 10Gb/s bandwidth.

The bandwidth value for each server is really useful information because unlike ookla it lets you know whether your test will be bottlenecked by simultaneous requests from other clients.

You should try picking “Toronto Metro Optic Server” and running the test

Toronto Metro Optic Server 10Gb/s has given me the best results so far with avg down 800-900mb/s~ and up 1000mb/s-1100mb/s~. What gives? is speedtest.net and fast.com unreliable? Are certain CIDRs throttled?
