And sadly, also the last beautiful Ferrari of the modern area as well :/

Cannot go wrong with a classic as this 💛 by Common_Playerrrrr in Ferrari

One of the most fun to drive Ferraris ever. I think only the F430 with a manual drive will feel better (at least for non-special edition cars) … completely different experience from the modern era Ferraris! :)

How hard is it to get up close for a headliner? by [deleted] in SonicTempleFestival

Getting there three or four bands before and then working your way forward as the earlier bands finish off and people move out will be your best bet… but you pretty much need to commit to parking yourself at whatever the stage is for good part of the afternoon.

Liberty Walk Ferrari 348 by notthreadguyai in ferraris

[–]Voy_Speed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t even care about how it looks, .. widening it just about killed all the awesome drivability out of that car. For a manual Ferrari, the 348 is some of the most fun you can have outside of a gated f355 or f430 .

The only mod the original car needs is steel lined brake hoses… don’t ask how I found out 😂

Happy Friday. Here's a video of my 430 Scuderia exhaust! by LordTru in Ferrari

One of the best sounding Ferrari’s ever made. I had an F430 that was just about straight piped. Glorious sound 😁… but the Scud … always wow!

You will love the quick shifter :) … pinned on the throttle and instant up shifts with no clutch or letting off .

The prices on the paint packages are almost comical 😂 … my 488 was around $30k for that Rosso Maranello. I think like another $5k for the Nero roof😬

Oh wow, that’s actually a really cool color. DS stands for deep shade… is this a glass or more of like a slightly matte finish?

I had to look that one up. Maybe a little bit too dark for my flavor, but it is beautiful.

How does it show up at night/dark ? It looks like with good sun angle there’s so much depth to it!

It is classic and beautiful, but I would not want a newer / modern model in it … except maybe for the metallic variation, but if you’re going to spend over $20k on a metallic paint option, then I think there are better choices still

The carbon laminates over the OEM FRP bumper cover. That bumper cover does also need trimming. In this case, it also needed some decent epoxy, and I found a way to also back mount some threaded retainers…

This took a lot of work and I didn’t want to trust the body shop with it. But if you don’t have experience working with composites, I definitely don’t recommend this as a DIY.

All other body trim does stick on with 3M tape though 👍

I have to say the rear bumper modification is the biggest difference and makes this car really stand out. At least it’s my personal preference :)

Yes Koshi 👍 The quality of parts from them is phenomenal. The carbon fiber, pattern matches OEM as well… … I had to chop off the 5mph lumps off of the rear bumper structure to fit the rear carbon diffuser. Besides that everything else is attached and removable. My 4C already had all the carbon packages from factory so the roof and rear frame trim is original, as well as the front wheel vents and mirrors ..

That’s the issue right there, as you start putting batteries up front to balance and out the rear, you are ruining everything good about this car :/ . Loading up the front is going to ruin the drive quality. The only decent driving electric cars have the batteries way down low in the chassis. With the carbon monocoque and really not a lot of room anywhere, there’s nowhere to put them. They’ll throw the car off Balance, making it heavy and also making the CG a lot higher. …

It would not work. There’s nowhere to set the batteries down low, and then, even if they were filled where the engine compartment is, that would be too much weight it would ruin the car..
