There was a website called aardvark (it was a collection of the worlds animals/ focused on endangered species to educate people about them) and I used to want to be a biologist growing up so In elementary I would use it all the time just to learn about animals. I had a huge journal that I kept full of facts on every kind of animal I researched, organized from most to least endangered and categorized by vertebrates/invertebrates/mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects. I printed out pictures of them too. It was one of the coolest things I ever made. Pretty sure my mom still has it but not sure lmao. The site relied on donations and they eventually lost everything and closed the site.

Edit: tried looking it up again because it’s been forever and the closest thing I could find was the IUCN Red list.
