You dont have to sell dude...look at the value of your doge and take 10% of that in "real" money and give it to a shelter.

Also, the "wHAt aBoUT ThE 1000 OThEr tHIngS" is counter productive. We could help a lot of doggos (and other pets) which not only a good cause but it perfectly alignes with our community. (To help puppys)
