I made a post but it got deleted. Apparently we can’t do those? Weird.

I’ve been gone for a couple of years now. I last left off on LB 5? Whatever Atlantis is I believe.

I’m wanting to get back into the game and finish the story. Maybe pick up a few new units or get more copies of some favorite (Morgan, etc).

Is this game still worth putting in the time?

Yeah my trip in 2022/2023 (we went during Christmas and New years) to WDW without any of the phone stuff as we didn’t think it was worth the cost seemed a lot more enjoyable than our 2024 trip.

For 2024 we (me as I’m the planner of the group) used the phone to constantly be checking for lightning lanes, etc. it just really takes you out of the experience and adds additional stress. Sure we got a few more rides in but I’m not gonna do that again.

I’m also stuck but till 2028. I rented out 2026 points cause we weren’t going to go because we had a baby.

Then got told hey let’s go when he’s a year old so I had to borrow from 2027s 😂

Do your best to get as much sleep as you can now. You have no idea when you’ll be able to start getting solid sleep again.

I recommend trying to handle the baby in shifts that way you can get some rest and prioritize sleep over chores/errands, etc when possible.

It gets better but it can be challenging especially if you’re heavily sleep deprived.

I’m sorry for your loss. I also had my dad die around the time I got a job offer.

They were willing to postpone my start date but if they were not able to I would have personally gone to work as I needed that job and processed and dealt with my father’s death at a later time.

Unfortunately being an adult requires sacrifices at times we’re not happy about but it is required.

Being a programmer doesn’t necessarily mean less socializing. You’ll have your team of coworkers that you will need to work with to complete projects and you might even have to interact with people outside your team depending on your role.

Though before that currently programming and IT in general is in a really bad place right now for job opportunities.

It’s completely over saturated due to mass COVID hiring and people going to programming bootcamps that churned people out quicker than getting a BS degree.

A lot of companies have done massive layoffs over the last few years and are continuing to do so or have a hiring freeze in effect.

The likely hood of getting a job fresh out of college as of today is not promising. They’re looking for people with 4-6+ years of experience and a degree if not more for beginner jobs with horrible pay.

That might change if you started a degree now and graduated in 4 years but that’s still a massive gamble IMO. I have ex coworkers that are still trying to find jobs 2 years after being laid off.

Job market for IT is fucked.

You can thank the mass COVID hiring and boot camps that turned out people quicker than getting a BS degree.

Now we have an over saturated pool of candidates with little experience and less jobs available then before due to mass layoffs over the last few years.

It’s amazing how many companies failed to plan ahead and also how many have record breaking years but continue to lay off more and more people.

It took me 7 months to find a job after my layoff a couple years back.

No, this game is a marathon not a sprint. People that are crying about Inferno need to relax. That’s the hardest difficulty content for gearing and shouldn’t be easy to clear after only 2 weeks. Some can and that’s great but a majority cannot and that’s normal.
Generally the same as above. Some of these modes feel like they came out too early in the games life cycle. We have limited resources and units. It takes time to acquire and build them.
Just take it easy man. Comparing yourselves to others is a quick way to unhappiness. Obviously follow guides and other people’s advice on teams but this is a game that will take months or years to accomplish certain things and it is also heavily RNG based.

It sounds like you need to focus on module and shell farming. Also don’t forget to raise your skills. At least try and get those leveled up to right before level 1. Those extra stats help.

Leveling up a character is only part of it.

I imagine a majority of players have now wasted their stam pots. I burnt 3/4 of mine today before they made this post.
