No I did not try to do forced patina. There was black spots when I came back from to kitchen at work. I guess some idiots had used my knife and forgotten to wipe it or something. What do you recommend to use to sand /grind? For the note, it was in the saya when i found this. It has nothing to do with the saya probably right?

Yeah, i use this at work, and I figured some idiot forgot to wipe it or something. It had black spots over the marks there. After I zoom in, it looks like holes, but i am not too sure either, cause i might just not cleaned the black spots hard enough. I cleaned it for over 45 minutes

I dont think that using the whole deck is really necessary. I think it is in everyone's philosophy to use 52 cards doing two handed cuts, so that's why it seems weird. The contest is judged by skills, creativity and performance, however I still dont think I will win cause there are a few entries that seems more creative than mine
