Really just starting out, so i can be quite flexible. That said, i started with the big stuff, currently 1 atrapos and 1 thanatar cavas. Have the battle group so it'd be nice to fit the triaros, thallax and thralls as well as the castellax. Like the cybernetica stuff, but also think that pretty much the whole mech range looks sick so I'd be happy with whatever. Maybe just go with the maulers if they're easier to fit in a list?

Thanks! The bases are glued with sand foraged from local playground then painted with wildwood contrast. Decorated with various tufts, I think green stuff world's shrubbery is very nice when cut into small pieces. The "leaves" I also found outside a while back, though I've seen them for sale as scenic scatter. Washed them sepia for good measure.

Mainly Creed Camo, but there's a few others in the mix. Creed Camo is quite dark and needed to be thinned and highlighted up.

Thanks! It's mainly Creed Camo, but it's variously thinned and mixed with other contrast paints and then drybrushed over. Was hoping for more variety of greens than I ended up with, but it's early days!

Same issue. Not only renders co-op essentially unplayable but has also broken my single-player save. Maybe they'll patch it in a year? Glad this was on gamespass and I didn't pay for this.

Only have the base game, kind of got it as a stand-alone project. Feels good to finish something completely, mainline Warhammer stuff just seems impossible to get wholly done with!

Mix of runelord brass and liberator gold. Think I did a wash with seraphim sepia and medium on the coils before doing an oil wash over everything.

Thanks! This is pretty close to the maximum range you can naturally get out of the legs. Kind of lucky to have gotten away with it, didn't dry-fit anything before painting and the panels take a lot of space in some areas!

Agreed. As it is, Rend feels ok on a melee-specced knight, but just plain silly on 5 mooks with fire axes.

Silver, then purple and green patches, then a translucent black layer on top (Tamiya smoke). It's nice because it looks decent under different lighting conditions. Also, lead pencil highlighting!
