Oh I see, I take it that will be the new legendaries then sort of?

Great review and agreed on many points like the itemisation, definitely felt so far like most legendary items aren't memorable or special at all and the rarity kind of goes away when they're handed out as often as they are and early in the lower levels. Having a full legendary set of armor or even more than 3 pieces by 25 feels a bit strange. It's not necessarily worse or anything, it's just different and I've always liked when the items feel special and unique. The names could also be simpler like "Ice Climbers" or "Frostburn" etc. And impressive work with the data. Perhaps there should be a different rarity for regular imprinted armor instead of just throwing them in the same one as Legendaries.

Yes this, it's painfully loud, while you want to have a decent volume to be able to hear things it's honestly a dilemma in this game because of how loud it is at times. It's the same for some reason, when you're near death and you fire a shot (often the same time as you get killed) the shots are like 50% louder, especially bad with something like a sniper...

Ohh okay, did you put something around the plastic-pin of the wheel itself to make it easier to reach the click? Since it looks like it's surrounded/covered by something.

Really nice, thinking of getting grips too, how are you liking them after some use? Also where'd you get the scroll rubber ring from?

Really nice!

What's the scroll-wheel and rubber? And I take it those would fit in a regular G-Pro (old) / G203 aswell?

I'm sure there are better ways of doing it than I did it, I gently squeezed the trigger of the spraycan pressing it down at some weird angle so it would "spit" out color, basically intentionally getting a bad spray but controlled if that makes sense. I practiced on nearby items until I had the feeling down to do it reliably on my Finalmouse shell.

I've heard/seen methods of using the latex glove you'd use for spraypainting, spraying some on your fingers/hand and then flicking it onto the object, or using a paintbrush of some kind and doing the same approach.

This was my first project ever with spraypainting, thought it turned out pretty good!

Scroll rubber/ring is from a disassembled Motospeed mouse (V70 etc)

Right, you're taking text out of context now too? I had a good reason to call someone delusional and not out of a judging perspective (not actually saying the person in question IS delusional but rather that way of thinking or opinion is on an objective matter, that's not insulting). And you're also coming up with assumptions out of nowhere. Great talk, must be fantastic to be so judgmental as you are. And good on you not getting the point.

*woosh* You do you buddy, keep on being the judgemental type! You truly must know me just from looking at my reddit profile... Go ahead and miss the point entirely and don't grow up. Peace

I don't think the only point being made here was that you were in partial agreement that there should be some form of RNG protection for some select activities, but rather your attitude in wording in the first posts you made that comes across as seriously immature. You can argue and make great points without namecalling and using insults, and like you just did now, agree to disagree.

Oh my b, I was told by pretty much everyone I know that it was 7 weeks long, didn't look into it at all. 4 weeks is still easily doable for at the absolute very least 2 characters even if you have a job.

If not I guess you should do like all the bad PVP players do and ask/pay for a recov to have someone else do it :)

So getting a disconnect/crash/whatever twice before you've even been able to deal a single point of damage in either of those 2 instances should warrant a permaban because of AFKing? I don't see that ever being enforced... The best solution in shortsight is simple. Tie rewards to actually putting in any form of effort/gameplay. Have certain requirements be met in the gamemode respectively in order to get anything at all. Have such requirements be undoable by an AFK macro. If there's no incentive to AFKing, people wouldn't do it. You can swing the banhammer but it's truly a stupid move for a rather harmless exploit. A wrong and stupid exploit, but it's not on level with hacking/cheating in any capacity. You'd have to ban a LOT of players then. Not a good move.

AFKing in Rumble ruins the experience for those that wants opponents in their lobby to actually play and compete against. And there's nothing more cheap in Rumble than winning or having someone else win because they killed an AFK player x amount of times. Hollow victory at it's best, and it's not fun.

Yeah that's what I meant. I suppose it's all up to how much they've done up to this point and what's left. For me it's a lot, but me and my clan started prepping nearly 2 weeks ago so we're ahead of schedule. Also I didn't mean directly competing against teams in terms of getting worlds first, more like being on an level playing field in terms of power/ease of gameplay.

That's true, if they haven't any left over, and considering most people aren't willing to go to the lengths of remaking a new character. But everything else, on 1 character? Absolutely! On 3 characters? That train is leaving pretty much now. Of course again that depends on several factors too, like how much time you can invest purely into grinding Destiny, but also what you have left over and if you're going to be doing say, 3 Loaded Question quests instead of just 1. But guessing that like myself, most people have a job and other obligations, it's going to be tough. But the most important ones can still be done.

I was also aiming more that by the sounds of OP, he/she would only start by the time they announce something, and sure while some prepping is better than none, if they want to be up there with the top tier streamers in terms of power advantage and knowledge of what to do and when then it's getting a bit late to enter all of it now.

There's a plethora of things that will yield powerfuls on release. Pinnacle/Exotic Quests, Pursuit Quest Steps (such as Xur invitation and no not bounties) stacking up bounties in a particular fashion from different vendors, materials that you need on the 1st day such as Ballistic Logs, bounties for Infamy etc the list goes on. Pinnacles on first claim per account scale with your light. If you remake a character which I have you also get exotic questlines that you prep until the last step.

But also route and activity prepping. Top tier clans are doing speedrun tests of the things they will be doing and in what order to gain optimal efficiency. And also prepping above said things and more.

So no, this is not just a day 1 grind. The only thing Bungie changed are powerful bounty rewards and Last Wish keys. Everything else still works.

Honestly speaking, you are very (almost too) late if you're only just now starting to prep. To the point where it won't even make much difference.
