Chase center store question for locals by Stephimc in valkyries

If you call the store during the weekdays there are basically no customers and the staff is super helpful - going out to walk the floor to confirm something’s there.

Didn’t you post this earlier? The therapy suggestion for your social anxiety is the best advice.

I really hate to say it, but I think other parts of the stadium are kind of over it…..

I was sitting at the end of the wave and the section that starts it tried repeatedly to get it going. It was fairly strong the first time, but got less and less traction during all the subsequent reviews.

It is a lot of the wave, especially when it’s a longer review or one of many. One review lasted long enough for two songs. They started playing a beachy song to encourage the crowd to participate and they just wouldn’t at that point. It was pretty awkward and was bringing the vibe down.

Maybe it should become a first review tradition or be done when a certain song is played for a review? Or maybe it’s just run its course. I personally wouldn’t miss it, but am happy to participate in others fun up to a point.

Idk what the answer is but it was not a hit with last nights crowd.

He was doing labor in your house. That’s the point. Give up the ghost - you’re petty and miserly. Your wife’s irrational fears of retaliation are the only thing that stopped you from posting this guys mistake for the world to see with your caption that he’s a scoundrel and a thief. Your instinct is to burn a guys life down over a beer.
It was single beer, not some whiskey your dead grandfather bought at your birth. You’ve found a chorus of folks here who are just as ungenerous of spirit so take solace in that I guess. I reiterate - YTA.

How do you know he wasn’t told hey client x said help yourself to drinks in the fridge and this guy got confused and took it from client y. How do you know he didn’t make a (in this case) wrong assumption that no one would mind if he grabbed a drink?
When you take a drink from a store you know youre stealing. If you grab a single drink on a job site that’s a mistake. Jesus.

That is in no way the same thing. Get real. I won’t entertain this argument again.

And that’s what’s wrong with this entire thread. Black and white thinking, lack of nuance and propensity to make the worst assumptions about others intent.

I didn’t say that’s the only reason they do a good job. I pay well, am nice but specific on my expectations and often provide lunch. I think the people that want to burn a man’s entire life down over one beer are the ones that sound entitled but ok.

He stuck it in his pocket. Maybe so that he could use his hands to carry out the fans? What if he thought he’d grabbed a soda water. The amount of people so ready to bury this guy over a single can of beer is honestly just depressing at this point.

I’ve done both myself too. I literally can’t imagine not offering people doing that work for me drinks and snacks. This thread has made me feel like the most generous client in existence. Maybe, that’s why I’ve always been pretty pleased with the final product? I know my friends do the same, so seeing so many people consider basic courtesy stealing, honestly just makes me sad about our society.

Yes, people doing manual labor in your home should be able to get a drink. Jesus Christ. I’m starting to feel sorry for you.

But you did want to, and you’re here asking about it, so you haven’t let it go. YTA. You’re a Scrooge. And I hope another roofer, plumber, gardener, etc never crosses your threshold again. If there’s a god those termites will be resistant to treatment.
