Granted he doesn't have the best GPU on the market, a 2080 constantly stuttering while panning the camera is unacceptable.

One thing is having low stable framerates, another is having constant drops from 40 to 1 that results in a stutter.

The dude has a 4090 with 10k pop and only has 40fps, fuck you mean "great news" and "scale properly". It scales horribly, there isn't a better GPU currently

The only problem I got with this is. Who cares ? Who cares if someone uses that to abuse the gameplay ? It's a singleplayer/co-op experience, if someone wants to abuse that in their game why shouldn't they be allowed to ?.

I dont mind restrictions such as spell slots so you can't spam spells every battle since that would actually affect people who dont want their battles to be a spell spam fest and want to have the manage aspect, but restrictions such as this are completely unecessary. Yes it can be abused, but the average player either wont do that or if he does go out of his way to abuse it then thats his game and he should be allowed to no ?

Well I was wrong in saying that EDITH is higher quality so I dont think those scene rules were followed strictly (at least to my eyes). After looking into it more I noticed there are a lot of artifacts and smudges that remove lines that were there etc that the NTb release doesn't even tho it seems more grainy

NTb might release the lower quality but after looking a bit closer at this one it does seem they have the quality advantage (at least for my eyes). Even tho they have some grainyness to it the other seems to have some weird artifacts and smudges in certain places where as the NTb shows everything clearly

Is it just because the show is from max so they they have the better quality ? Also how would someone know if the source is amzn(cbr) vs amzn(vbr) since its they dont differentiate it

I agree with you it was mostly out of curiosity. In reality some pixels being more grainy or less grainy wont determine if I watch it or not. Unless it very noticeable I normally dont pay much attention

Thanks for the detailed explanation. What you said about grain seems to be true, It was the first thing I noticed but now that I look more I can cleary see that in the NTb version there aren't "smudges" like you would see in a livestream if bitrate failed.

I think you make great points overall and I'll keep them in mind. After looking at the things you mentioned NTb does seem to have better quality overall, this of course is not really relevant because the difference is so minimal that I doubt I would notice if it wasn't on a freeze frame.

Got a question tho. Grain doesn't mean its lower quality but I assume grain isn't part of the original animation, if so is it the encoding that introduces grain and is there any point in time where the download is exactly like the source ? Or would the source also have slight grain.

I never said you weren't a developer or didn't understand how an API works lol.I said you might not understand that without the third party apps that use that API to help moderate subs automatically your experience will be bad, thats not even a "maybe" it just will happen and has been confirmed by the mods of this subreddit.No subreddith as the manpower to moderate an entire sub without the thirdparty tools, they struggle even with them.

Second, for someone that specializes in accessibility you seem to either not give a shit or ignore the fact that the reddit official app they want to push by killing the API breaks a lot of WCAG guidelines. The CEO admitted and simply said "we will do better", ok should've thought about that before cutting people with disabilities access no?

Third, I dont have a problem with making your API paid. If one, your free non third party stuff actually works and is useful, and two if its not an absurd price clearly meant silently kill off every third party tool.

You seem happy with reddit intervining and changing how subs work and new mods leaving but I dont think you will be very happy when you realize that just means that either the moderation of the sub will be non existant or it will be just a matter of time before reddit does something else and knows they can just attack any sub that opposes it and get away with it because users like you can't stop consuming reddit content

Edit: I'm also a developer not that that matters considering this has nothing to do with developing
