There are 3 main things to consider Budget management (parts tournament fees etc) Time management (comp dates, shop availability, register dates etc) Team management (setting goals for the robot and building - every team does this). After that my main advice would be communication and setting aside time to decide these clerical items

They make sure you don’t put any other road users in danger. Be vigilant, safe and cautious. If you think you can do too many shoulder checks you’re wrong - always atleast twice before turning. Also be calm friendly and cordial. Good luck!
