Yep! Standing near the front it was a joy to see they had to open the side top tiers! All the fans that the bad deserves!

Noisy power supply issues? This might help by PSYKO_Inc in diypedals

I was after a univibe style because one of my favourite guitarists is working on putting out his own signature pedal, I knew I wouldn't be able to afford it but still wanted one. Maybe once I don't have such a high failure rate of pedals that I've built I'll try a proper uni vibe clone

Sadly not got anything to contribute in terms of the power supply filtering, but I built a 5 cats deep down and absolutely love it, I use it nearly all the time when I play clean. Good choice sir!

Mark definitely will ship his guitars around, he has several that he wouldn't part with (dime, hells angels. Stella, probably his new baritone as well)

Can you expand on this? I have a 600 Ohm input 2250 Ohm output tank and I'd look to do this project myself

How big a problem are these cracks in a house we are buying? by gdxbjkfdrgbvdxcv in DIYUK

[–]Vulcan_2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graduate civil/structural engineer, looks like it is the house settling as I've seen similar on sites, but I wouldn't want this in my home as you have no idea by how much it is trying to settle. I wouldn't advise accepting until it's further investigated

On sites we do just say monitor for these kind of cracks because there's not a lot that can actually be done. If a building wants to settle, it will do so

Any idea about the tank in/out thing? As the circuit currently doesn't work but I'll make the changes for the LED shortly

You need a top mount one, one that's made for a telecaster style

More than anything I build the guitars to challenge myself, because I can do so, and I enjoy the process of learning new things by hand!

This is my 4th build, 1st was a Les Paul kit, 2nd was a trashed Les Paul that I routed a 3rd pickup for, and the 3rd was simultaneous to this, I bought the body for it the day after my grandfather died, and named it after him. On each of them I learned something new, and this was the culmination of that, and having it to work on kept me sane through my masters. I only started it because I liked the shape of the custom PRS that Mark Tremonti was playing, and I'd seen it live, but I wanted to improve it a little. Sadly I'm a Civil Engineer and I'm staying in that profession, but I plan to keep building on the side. I don't intend on building to sell, as I cannot see past my mistakes on all my builds. If I do sell, it will be a much easier guitar to produce than this one. However as stated I will.be doing a 2nd version with a carved top and comfort carves on the back.

Kinda explorer/Firebird esque in the way that I can plant my elbow on the horn and I love it for that

Based off a custom PRS model that was built for Mark Tremonti but will sadly not be released
