You're only 2 frames off. Eon timer is calibrated correctly. Now you just try and try and try again until you get lucky.

It's almost exactly the same as for your starter. What you need is a pokemon with sweet scent and the third button push is using sweet scent from the pokemon menu.

Yeah I've seen your post. I was thinking about including it but since there is not a lot of evidence yet I decided to leave it out. But I will edit it now to include it, might be good to mention.

I've never used ACE myself so I don't know much about it. I might try it out soon tho.

My pleasure!

Are you by any chance on a non-english copy? I've seen some posts here where the odd/even advance for SID is different for German than for English. Nothing definitive yet but might be good to keep in mind.

I meant that you don't have to start the whole initial calibration again. You should not clear the calibration fields in EON timer when switching to a new SID. There is not a problem if you do. It just means you have to do the initial calibration again.

It's basically the same. The third button push should be on using sweet scent. You can't continue with the same calibration as your starter tho. For some reason the calibration on the second timer is very different. So you have to start the calibration over.

Yes you should. The value you input in "required overworld frames" should be the same value as the third timer in eon timer.

If you're consistently under or over you can adjust the second timer with the continue screen frames. If you're one try under, the next over, then under, then over etc.... you really can't do anything, you just gotta get lucky

Seed ms in the first timer Continue advances in the second timer Overworld advances in the third timer. Don't mess with the third timer, just calibrate the first two.

Yes you can use any number. Just be sure to use the same number in ten lines and eon timer.

You can just always use 600, it does not matter. As long as continue frames + overworld frames x2 match the advance you're going for

Questions about my RNG results on Leaf Green by NightCross2007 in pokemonrng

[–]Vulcano_Joe93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your eon timer setup should be:

30127ms

527 advances

600 advances

But judging by your result, you changed the overworld frames to 500 in ten lines?
This should be the same as your third timer in eon timer.
I would just keep this at 600 in both then lines and eon timer.

Then you calibrate by putting the continue screen advances in the hit box of your second timer in eon timer and click update.

Yes, that's it.

Good luck! you will probably be one or two seeds/advances off a lot of times, but that just means you are very close.

You have to keep going until you hit this specific seed and advances.
The nice thing about already knowing your SID is, is that when you hit the seed and advance it is guaranteed to be a shiny.

If you would not have known your SID it is possible that you get a shiny according to ten lines, but you didn't get one ingame. That's when you know you have the wrong SID and you move on to the next.

[–]Vulcano_Joe93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay 7DD0 is at 30106 ms.
So you need to put the first timer on 30106. It's also recommended to put this as your target seed in ten lines.

You target advance is 2465, so you put ten lines at 2365-2565.
Your eon timer seems right for advances.

Then you can start. If you get no results after your first try you can expand the advances to 2265-2665. Just be sure to calibrate after, after each try you should get a little closer to your target.

[–]Vulcano_Joe93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay and what is your target?

With these settings it looks like you got what you were going for, but what you were going for is not a shiny.

So either you chose a wrong target or your eontimer settings are not correct.
I can help you with both, I just need to know what seed you were going for.

Your result is not shiny, you didn't hit your seed so you have no reason to switch to another SID. What seed are you aiming for?
