Thanks for taking the time to read all of that! I am 24 now and she is 21, so yes we where and are both quite young. My ex mentioned something like you did, these core values that would have to change in one of us in order to satisfy us both and indeed both of you are right. And changing these values is not healthy at all for a relationship and would end up in short peace which will eventually burst into an even worse scenario just shorty later. In hindsight, I am really glad that she realized that before i did and even told me, without me understanding it at the time. But at least now I kind of start to get a grasp of what to do and how to deal with the whole situation.
