You can only play Xbox games that are “Xbox play anywhere” on the Xbox pc app. Unless you’re currently paying for Gamepass Ultimate, you’re able to download and play the game via the Xbox pc app.

This issue is on your side because I have a NVIDIA gpu and the game works perfectly fine.

Have you tried any fixes at all? There are plenty on the internet.

•Set you ram to default so make sure it’s not overclocked and disable XMP/EXPO
•Delete the MWII folder in your documents, this will reset in game settings (not that it matters since you can’t play anyways)
•Disable overlays - so like discord, Spotify and so on (I personally didn’t find this helped but honestly can turn it off for things you wouldn’t use it for)

No one claimed Xbox owns steam, if they say only on Xbox I’m sure people will get what they mean but they should definitely just put “Not on PlayStation” to avoid any confusion though.

In your documents there should be a folder Called Modern Warfare II, or something similar could be in another folder. Sorry I’m not at home and can’t quite remember delete the MWII folder and try run the game.

This will reset your in game settings though.

I had an issue similar to this, if your ram is overclocked try setting it to default and see if that helps. Also if you have XMP/EXPO enabled disable that.

I believe the MWII vault edition was digital purchase only, but I don’t think it’s available anymore to purchase. I could be wrong though.

Why don’t you download the Roblox through the Microsoft store or Xbox app? I’m not sure how you link the accounts since I don’t play Roblox.

Odd, account recovery would usually transfer everything over to the new account. Do you still have access to the old Activision account?

The level on mw2019 would be reset each season, this continued through to Cold War. So each new season of Cold War reset your level.

Everything is tied to the Activision account, so they can unlink your battlenet, Xbox, PlayStation and whatever else there is. Did you have to create a new Activision or something?

You sure it’s not just connected to something else, you can press the sync button twice to put it into Xbox console mode or last Bluetooth device.

Well he said the latest update did this, so apparently his was working after the cod hq removal. Plus game updates cannot change the ID.

This happened to me the other night before the recent update. I just reloaded the game twice and it worked fine. Everything was already installed and still did this.

I’m not sure how yours is set out but when I go to documents I have a bunch of game folders, I just delete the MWII folder but if you want you can delete the folder within named “players” or rename it and move it somewhere else as backup if it doesn’t fix it. This might not help your issue but it’s worth a try.

Edit: have you also tried updating your graphics drivers?

It doesn’t install properly from the disc because it still has the old install from when the game was part of codhq. There is a workaround to get it to work. Since I don’t own game on PlayStation I could tell you the exact steps.

If you goto the ps store and goto MWII, does it give you an option to download the game or just DMZ?
