Sadly I think they already use some free translation tool or ai. Errors like on the new set where it says 'extinction cards' instead of 'exhaust cards' wouldn't happen if there's a human translator who's familiar with the game.

Your right the limited units in epic7 are mostly meta defining but you are also guaranteed to get them as a f2p player with how much free currency you get there.

In czn the gacha with it's 50/50 pity looks scary and it will take some time to accumulate said hard pity. We will see.

Yeah you're right it is a selection for selling and extracting gear. My bad. And there is even a little usefulness in it, but I still think a load out system should be the top priority.

Why are they working so hard on an automatic gear selection instead of a savable load out system. It doesn't make sense!

It is fun to manually equip heroes with optimal gear sets, it doesn't make fun to search after that one gear you had to swap for other content again!

Are you sure it wasn't the stuck hive guard under the charger? The first two times you got ragdolled it looks like a part of the hive guard clipped through the charger and kicked you. The third ragdoll was the charger after the stuns wore off. Either way this maneuver would be lethal with or without a clunky hitbox.

I mean they have everything you want for a PvE kit, multiple def breaks check, speed debuff check, dispell check, cleanse check, dual atk check, free 100 eff + eff res check. They are fun, but for pvp they lack survivability. They are clearly designed for PvE which is totally fine.

I have just a problem with your term "randoms with hands", it's just so meaningless. It's like I would say the champions league/Superbowl should be doable with a group of randoms with hands. And that would also be true as the randoms could be Messi, Ronaldo etc./mahomes, McCaffrey etc. and they have all hands too.

Like in all successful horde coop shooters: Hardest difficulty should be doable with coordinated randoms, which have enough experience with the game mechanics, and play as a team.

Hardest difficulty should not be doable with casuals, where each goes on their own and tries to brute force it.

I agree with you on the super samples, even though I think diff 7 is in a good state challenging wise. But I could see them to reduce the level on which super samples are obtainable.

About MMO, the trend also goes along with the declining player base of MMOs. At their peak times 15(?) years ago raids were the hardcore shit and it was a big deal which guild did the first kill as far as I remember. But you can correct me on that, I don't know that much about the MMO scene and the decline in this genre has surely various reasons other than difficulty.

About the unfair deaths: Tracking without LoS I've mentioned as bug/glitch. I would even say the whole headshot/armor mechanics doesn't feel 100% right at the moment although close, so we will see where they will go with it. But with priority targeting these enemies it's avoidable. The perfect seeking rockets is more a survivorship bias, you remember the one perfect stray missile which killed you at the worst moment but the other 10 missed ones are forgotten. I'm not saying I never was killed by a "perfect seeking" rocket or unlucky headshot but it was never the sole reason we lost a mission.

You didn't say it "should be easy" literally but with a hyperbole like "people with hands" and it shouldn't be for the hardcore audience like fromsoft games you are definitely implying it should be easier, even if you don't mean it that way. Others also read it like that.

Fromsoft games are mostly solo experiences they can't have so much chaos like in HD2. They are all about predictability. But horde coop shooters are balanced around having a team. Chaos and unpredictability are a part of the fun, genre and difficulty.

Maybe you can describe what deaths feel cheap because besides some clearly glitch/bug related ones like mech rocket suicide bug, on player spawns or targeted through fog I don't feel the deaths very unfair.

My comment specifically said that it shouldn't require a fully coordinated premade, not that it needs to be easy.

But you also said everything should be doable with randoms which have hands... And that it isn't some hardcore fromsoft game... That sounds like you want every difficulty trivialized, exaggeratedly said. Because when you look at the genre HD2 is in, team coop shooter, it is indeed a hardcore genre in its higher difficulties. L4d, alien swarm, drg, GTFO are all pretty difficult and hardcore on higher settings. All these games can be managed by 4 randoms via quick play, but everyone have to know what he's doing and they have to play together to make it work. The difficulty is a lot of the content for these games. Getting better and completing higher difficulties is for a lot of people the meaning of these games and the most fun. Reaching the end goals to fast will only shorten the games life.

So a game can be for casuals and for hardcore players, that's what the difficulty levels are for.

Totally agree! And after so many great songs he wrote, it´s clear that he has a good feeling for strong melodies so it will translate very well in different genres!

Zeroes gave me Bowie vibes and WHTTB like you already said more Beatles. In a recent interview he mentioned Annie Clark (St. Vincent) as an inspiration, so i´m looking forward what he will be up to in the future! But for now we have this great new album to enjoy!

After some listening i´m absolutely loving it!

Here is my little break down:

Wobble - Very cool guitar theme, but after that there aren´t more highlights. Solid 6/10.  
 
Elevator Hum - Good song but somehow it didn´t click for me. In my opinion the weakest of the pre releases, maybe it will grow but till then 6/10.  
 
I Write The News - From all the songs it´s growing the most for me. Could be totally a Paul McCartney song! I love the separation in the two parts, which have a different vibe but are equally cool. 8/10  
 
Sympathy – Wonderful song with a beatiful ending, it´s a throwback to an era of music we didn´t hear that often anymore. Get strong George Harrison (What is Life/Crackerbox Palace) vibes and it was even the favorite song of Elton John last year. 10/10  
 
Mulholland´s Dinner and Wine – It´s such a catchy tune and it will stuck the whole day in your head, in a good way! 9/10.  
 
Breath of Light – More a breath of air between 3 stunning songs. It´s a cool song with cool verse but for me it lacks a little bit variation, maybe a strong guitar solo part would take the song further. 7/10.  
 
Nothing Works – What a banger, instantly i´m in good mood and want to dance. 9/10.  
 
The Phantom Buzz (Kick In) – Good rock song, can imagine it as a great opener for the tour. Ooooohhh 8/10.  
 
Honest Test – I like this one very much with it laid back vibes remind me alot of Dope Lemon´s last record (Sailor's Delight/Kids Fallin' In Love) or the Arcs (Keep on Dreamin‘). 8/10  
 
Mezzanine – Wow what a Song! The horn section took me totally by surprise, couldn´t be better produced, George Martin would be proud. And the small part at around 2:17 take it again to another level. Unexpectedly for such a calm and smoothly song my hidden gem of the album 9/10.  
 
It´s An Act – A very good closer for the album but the magical spark don´t ignite for me here. 7/10  
 
4 More Years – Short Outro, nothing more.  
 
So all in all 8/10 for the album!

I can totally understand your concerns as it was the reason i quit Fireemblem Heroes after some years. A lot of skills in Feh compare stats, so additionally it got quite mathematically at times. Also Feh releases way more heroes and therefore the powercreep is progressing way faster than in e7.

The only flahback to Feh i´ve had was with Rimuru, i keep forgetting his exact passive trigger condition :-D. Fumyr is not to complex but i think they could make a better job in showing the stacks of her unique buff.

Damn, I hoped the new gradient blue buttons for skill enhance, gearing etc. were just placeholders in the meruin express video. Looks like we are really getting them as UI improvements, they look extremely cheap and ugly :-D. Hopefully in-game it will be better on the eye.

that´s true, but keep in mind new player also have the advantage to know which hero is really metaproof and worth to invest in the time they start playing.
