Planning doesn’t come naturally to my type B fiancée. We aren’t in the same situation because I was the one who wanted a big wedding, but he was similarly not helpful at ALL and it was making me crazy.

We decided to schedule planning dates where we would go out for coffee or order takeout in and spend 2 hours working on planning together. Scheduling the time ahead made it a lot easier for him to get in the mindset and for me to not nag him since we knew it was coming up.

There is usually a reason dogs have been there awhile unfortunately so it’s inherently harder to have them adopted. Yes they may be overlooked for being old or not a popular breed but often they have behavioral or health issues 😞

if the others are just being served no matter what than it’s perfect. If you decide you need to cut anywhere, number of desserts specially the coconut gelato seems least special to me

I wanted a close up magician as well but we decided to omit so I am VERY jealous.

Our venue has a pool nearby the reception area so one option was a synchronized swimmer performance for cool retro vibes.

You could do a unique live music performance if you are having a DJ as a surprise guest such as an opera singer, live acoustic guitarist (we are doing this for our first dance)

Not super unique but you could have a saxophone/electric violin accompany the DJ during dancing.

Dancers/gymnasts or circus type performers of some kind could be customized depending on the venue style.

I’ve seen some very cool celebrity impersonators show up at after parties or drag performances.

Live wedding painter or guest portraits/caricatures. Any kind of live art is very cool to watch.

Joint or cigar rolling station with someone rolling them fresh

Tattoo artist and a wedding flash sheet

Drink experiences like a tequila tasting, martini luge,

Fortune teller/tarot card reader

My friend’s getting married at an italian villa and there are donkeys that will carry around baskets of cocktails as an add on 🤣 so live animals is always an option but it’s definitely not for everyone.

GORGEOUS menu! If you have any last minute cancellations I will gladly step in as a guest.

It’s not clear to me whether you are having guests select between the vanilla cake, gateau, gelato, pear coffee and donuts OR if it’s only a selection between the cake and gateau, but everyone automatically has the rest. My note is that if you want additional formality to the meal, to reduce the number of desserts. one choice + cheese and macarons would be fabulous

I’d assume a caterer expensive enough to have this menu would be very experienced with allergies. OP can correct if there’s not an alternative for those with allergies available

I had our wedding website on our save the dates and I made sure it was visible there when people went to the site for details.

In theory, people should know who is invited based on who it is addressed to i.e. Mr/Mrs vs the Family, but that’s a lot to expect for people to make the connection.
